Boutique Hotel at its Best
We just wrapped up a week at this fantastic hotel and couldn't recommend it enough. The hotel itself is conveniently located and nicely appointed, especially for a boutique hotel, however it's the staff that makes this place so much more welcoming and comfortable. From the ladies who attend to the breakfast buffet every morning, to the travel & dinner recommendation coordinated by Amanda and Pia, the evening cocktails or coffee provided by the incredibly kind, Mahmoud (Sarkar), and lastly to our masseuse with the magical touch, we genuinely enjoyed our time at the Golden Tower. Absolutely recommended!

Perfect accomodation in a beautiful city
A recent trip to Florence was topped by a perfect stay at this hotel. Ideal location, within walking distance in all directions. Hotel decor tastefully done combining italian old style with new. Rooms were kept immaculate, no noise heard from outside for being so central and comfortable beds. The breakfast selection was very good aswell as the coffee! The service was excellent and all the staff were over accomodating. This hotel comes highly recommended.

Definitely recommend
Lovely hotel! Room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. Staff were all friendly & helpful. Breakfast buffet was yummy! Was disappointed that the hot tub was under construction but these things happen. Enjoyed the sauna and steam room one afternoon. Perfect location in the city - can walk everywhere!

A faire
Un super hôtel très bien placé un personnel au top d'une grande gentillesse reactif et a l'ecoutec'était parfait. Un petit moins pour le petit déjeuner qui était très correct mais manque de produits locaux et d'explication pour d'éventuelles commandes.

Comfort and luxury
This was a beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. They were kind and caring and went the extra mile to help us locate a bag we lost on a bus. It has the most lovely decor and the breakfast was fabulous. Very central location. I would come back again and again.

Incredible but....
This quaint hotel was wonderful in every aspect except room temperature. It was beautiful, clean and the staff were all fantastic. The only downside is that we went in March. There is no thermostat in the room and the hotel controls the temperature. If you are on an upper floor, it gets incredibly hot at night. The front desk said that it is still considered "winter months" and they are not allowed to turn on the air. Great hotel, wrong time of year

Hotel au centre de la villes, très bien pour les visites, accueil très chaleureux, propreté de la chambre impeccable, petit déjeuner très varié, le personnel très souriant, sympathique, a votre écoute. En un mots super.

Very happy to recommend
We liked this hotel very much. A very warm welcome, a sense of personal service and an ideal location. Not cheap but well placed and comfortable, very close to all the main tourist attractions. Good facilities and a sparkling clean room and bathroom

Nice, clean hotel with added services
Room was great. Service was good. Hotel is clean. Spa services were ok, (not referring the beauty center offerings, but specifically the shower/steam/sauna). The jacuzzi was not functioning on our trip, but to be fair the hotel was also offering free reservations given that issue (typically there is a cost to reserving the spa services). Room ran a little warm, left the window open and ended up covered in mosquito bites (our fault). Location was good, nicely tucked away.

Fantastic stay!
We booked a week holiday package in Florence and we chose this hotel. It was magnificent! Centrally located in Piazza Strozzi, this hotel (a historical building in itself) is walking distance from main historical attractions. Rather small but chic hotel; we arrived midday, checked in, but left the luggage at the reception (as the room was being cleaned) and went for a stroll- when coming back the luggage was already in the room. A welcome pack was provided to us- and Daniele from reception took us through it, giving us all the necessary info, incl. useful tips etc. Reception service was impeccable all along- thanks to Daniele and all his teammates. Brilliant hotel service overall. Breakfast saloon a bit small, but always with a nice selection- if you cannot find what you wish just ask for it and you will be served promptly. We had a very elegant room (with hand-painted ceiling) in one of the towers, immaculately clean (you will even find a small/ sweet surprise on the bed every day!); marbled bathroom (always shining); heating working perfectly (as the nights were rather cold!); all the other usual things (e.g., TV, wifi, minibar, coffee machine, etc.) in perfect order. Very quiet (thanks to its original, thick stone walls, presumably). No time to try the spa this time- maybe next time…Not to forget another pleasant surprise- a nice red rose plus chocolate to the ladies at Valentine’s! I have to say, we’ve stayed in quite a few 5* hotels across the world- but the overall service and welcoming attitude was special here! Otherwise, excellent location, with some very good restaurants, trattorias, bars nearby for a nice evening out- just ask the reception… We are already looking forward to coming back. Once again, thanks to all the team there- well done!
