Wonderful experience
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff at Ponte Vecchio suites and spa went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Our junior suite was immaculate and refreshed daily, and the little complementary touches ( champagne and macaroons in our room upon arrival, chocolates on our our bed at night, as well as 2 complementary happy hour snacks), made us feel special and appreciated. Shout out to Andre and Tatiana who were unbelievably friendly and helpful every day, in every way, as well as several others whom I didn't get their names. We travelled to Florence to visit our son who is studying abroad at ISI Florence, and I will most definitely recommend this hotel to other parents who may travel there next semester, as well as anyone else I know who may travel there in the future. We had a wonderful stay at Pointe Vecchio, a beautiful boutique-style hotel. Andrés and Lorenzo were absolutely amazing so kind, attentive, and dedicated to making our stay unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious, and they even gave us excellent suggestions for tours and places to visit in Florence. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Loud and miserable stay. Broken amenities that I paid for.
Extremely regrettable stay. We stayed at 7 hotels in Italy in 3 weeks and this was the only one we had an issue with. I called the hotel before my stay and asked for a quiet room, so they placed me away from the tower construction but literally put us in a room above an extremely loud laundry business. We were jet lagged and were shaken awake at 8:30 when the business opened and then the floor in our living room then proceeded to shake until the laundromat closed for lunch. They mentioned to me they have soundproofing, but their “soundproofing” does not cover up the noise from this loud laundry business beneath the bedroom and living room in 105. The staff said this room isn’t normally loud but I walked into the laundry business and it’s a full service very loud business, my stay was not a special circumstance like they were suggesting. If you book an executive suite you’re playing the lotto of getting room 105. The Florence trip you’ve been dreaming of will be right on top of loud and vibrating washers and dryers. They switched us to a new executive suite with a broken kitchen door, extremely loud shower head, and an uncomfortable 2 pillow couch that looked nothing like the pictures. Our party had a 2nd room and there was a good amount of black mold in the shower. I told the desk about the issues in our 2nd room during check out and they listened to me but you could tell they didn’t care at all. No apology for not being able to use all of the kitchen that I paid for. If you get room 107 the kitchen door is literally broken and stuck in place, and staff doesn’t care at all. I told them right after they switched me over there and they did nothing. I paid 650$ for 2 nights and really wish we had stayed somewhere that looked like the pictures. Their compensation for me was a 5 euro box of chocolates. This is NOT acceptable compensation for broken amenities. Nice staff, but this place is loud and miserable.
We had an amazing stay here during our 6 day visit. The staff took such amazing care of us. The location is amazing and is right by the ponte vechio bridge with close access to everything you would want to see.
The rooms were very modern and we fell in love with the double shower heads. The beds were comfortable and our suite was spacious.
We fell in love with the place and for us, the staff really really went above and beyond. Thank you so much to the whole staff, especially Adriano and Marco in the morning. We don’t plan to stay anywhere else if we ever go back to Florence. Ps: to the staff at the hotel, we’re the ones who said we would return with our parents! We hope to see you soon again.

The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. When our airline lost our bag the hotel immediately called on our behalf and had it there by morning.
The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the bus stop, 5 minutes from Ponte Vecchio, and 15 minutes from the main train station. Making it extremely easy to see the city.
When spending one night in a nearby city, the hotel stored our bags and had them in our room by the time we arrived the next day.
Breakfast and happy hour drinks were also included in our stay.
Most importantly, the hotel was extremely clean and well taken care of.

My favorite hotel in Firenze
I have visited this hotel 5 times now, and I can call it my home in Florence and the place I pick for my regular visits to this beautiful city. First, location is great, just a few minutes walk from all the main attractions and is surrounded by many delicious restaurants. I love breakfast here, as it has plenty of sweet and savory choices. The breakfast staff is friendly and attentive to my needs. The cleaning service is spotless and punctual. The Executive Suite I usually book is comfortable and has everything I could need for a long stay, including a well served kitchenette and a large bathroom with shower and spa tub. But the main reason to come back here is the front desk staff, who are always looking out for me, ready to go out of their way to help. As a senior solo female traveler, safety and comfort are my priorities and I always feel taken care of here. Looking forward to my next trip!

Family Vacation in Italy
It was a nice small boutique hotel, location was great, close to everything & many restaurants to select. Our executive suite was very clean & spacious (in Italian standards), more importantly the bed was very comfortable including the sofa bed. Breakfast was ok, but the breakfast sitting area was quite tight.

Exceeded expectations
I chose to stay here, of all the many, many hotels in Florence, because of the excellent reviews on Trip-advisor, even so it exceeded my expectations and truly enhanced my stay. My suite had a comfortable living room, kitchen and enormous bed, with an excellent shower and jacuzzi bath. Prior to arrival the hotel kindly sent a list of restaurant recommendations, and I had a week of outstanding evening meals, authentic food and reasonable pricing, none more than minutes from the hotel. Their established reputation in the area also served me well, when there was a small issue with my booking at Stanley Tucci’s favourite restaurant the highly popular Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco and the owner went above and beyond to help. The hotel is just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, the Palacio Vecchio and the Uffizi. I took advantage of the short walk to book for early opening at the Uffizi at 8.15 and saw it in all its glory all but deserted. There is also a decent sized supermarket just by the bridge for any bits as well as some reputable leather and ceramic shops, excellent sandwiches and proper gelato. Breakfast has a delicious choice of sweet and savoury items, fresh each day and each guest is invited to what was called snacks and a glass of processo, but was almost enough food for dinner! However, the hotel’s greatest asset is its small size and its individual care for its guests. Every guest passing the front desk is greeted and asked how they are. When I mentioned I didn’t drink the unlimited coffee, but would like some milk for tea, it appeared at once, I also appreciated being greeted with a refreshing drink on arrival and the citrus and mint infused water available each evening in the lobby was delicious. If I needed a taxi it was never more than two minutes away. Best of all though, was the friendly team of Marco, Olga, Alina, Adriano and Tatiana, who would always greet me with smiles, and were proud and happy to share their knowledge of Florence and chat about my experiences in their beautiful city. Thank you all so much for a wonderful visit.

Tremendous Experience!
We spent the first three nights of our trip here and absolutely loved it. The location was great, as it's outside of city-center (so it avoids the major crowds). However, it's close enough to everything in the city to walk without a second thought. The staff was helpful & friendly, providing everything we needed and more. The breakfast offering was perfect for us and amenities were what we'd expect for a hotel at this level. I'd recommend this to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, convenient hotel in Florence as a home base for their travel!

FABULOUS boutique hotel with 5 star hospitality!!!!
My husband and I stayed at the Ponte Vecchio Suites and Spa for our 25th anniversary and my birthday. What a FABULOUS 4 night stay at the hotel!!!! Our room was huge and comfortable, and we were welcomed with a birthday/anniversary card and bottle of bubbly! What a nice touch. Everyone at the hotel is extremely pleasant and helpful, and offered suggestions and recommendations for restaurants, activities, transportation, and anything we could ask, This was truly one of our most enjoyable Hotel stays of anywhere in the world that we have visited! Truly a remarkable visit and we highly recommend staying at this wonderful boutique hotel! A special shout out to Tatiana and her colleagues at the front desk, and Chiara in the breakfast room! This was truly a 5 Star experience!!!
