Update: the response from the company is a lie. They waited almost 3 month after I gave them my deposit to even start the plans, and they dropped the ball and submitted the wrong paperwork for the wrong county for permitting. They are incompetent in every aspect of the way. They did nothing to rectify their wrongs except blame everyone but themselves, and when I wrote this review they tried to retaliate by cancelling my permit before I could submit a change in contractor.
*************DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY************
Extremely Disappointing Continued Experience with Projo Fencing.
I wish I could give Projo Fencing zero stars. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I signed a contract and paid my deposit they have been unprofessional, disorganized, and completely unreliable.
Little did I know, this would be the beginning of a long (78 days and counting), frustrating ordeal. Despite their promises, the company has failed to complete even the most basic tasks.
Over the course of nearly 10 weeks, Projo has made a magnitude avoidable mistakes, including submitting incorrect Palm Beach County documents when I reside in the City of Boca, making me sign outdated permmiting applications, taking over 6 weeks to get the fence drawings (and then they tried to blame me), and flat out failing to submit necessary paperwork to get our permit.
Even after repeatedly providing them with everything they needed, they still couldn't get it right. Their communication has been abysmal, with delays in responding to critical issues and a complete lack of follow-through on their promises.
Projo has wasted our time and caused unnecessary stress. My husband and I have had to step in and do much of the work ourselves, including obtaining HOA approval, providing a survey before signing the contract, securing easement agreements, calling comcast to get the box on the fence line moved over because Projo's engineering deparment couldnt figure out what needed to be done, and correcting their multiple paperwork errors—all tasks that should have been handled effortlessly by Projo.
To add insult to injury, we’ve been told our project was a priority, yet here we are, still without a fence and with no end in sight. We’ve been incredibly patient, but enough is enough. This has been a huge hold-up in completing the rest of the exterior of our home, and we’re now dealing with issues like a failing pool enclosure and the safety of our four dogs.
After trying everything to work with them for months now—correcting their mistakes, doing their work, and even calling the city on their behalf—I finally asked for a refund of my deposit. After 78 days of nonsense, we still don’t even have the permit (which, by the way, Projo only submitted as recently as August 1st, and when they did, they submitted it incorrectly, causing even more delays). To top it all off, they are now ignoring my request for a refund.
If you’re considering using Projo Fencing, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. This company has proven time and again that they are not capable of handling even the simplest projects. Save yourself the frustration and find a more reliable fencing company.

Our Final Update and Response: Your permit just got approved (within 20 days from initial submission), GC's do have to cancel permits due to liability purposes upon receiving refund request.
Our team actually initially met you the beginning of the year but we never got your engagement until recently. The 3 months was from the point of quote approval, we had to get it through engineering plus there were some issues with your property that needed to be rectified, one of which was a Comcast box that was in the way of the fence location.
We would really appreciate if you could go ahead and install your fence. We wish you nothing but great memories with your loved ones in your backyard.
Dear Jessica,
It's disheartening to see that you've chosen to leave a review that could potentially harm a small business like ours, and the many families that depend on it.
We have always educated our customers including yourself that the permit process can take months due to changing document requests by jurisdictions that resets our timelines as per our introduction email. Sometimes, jurisdictions tend to make mistakes themselves and provide bad communication.
Throughout this process, you have sought to micromanage the project, often providing incorrect documentation which contributed to delays, despite our guidance. We also faced challenges with the city's systems being down, requiring us to walk in the permit to move forward.
Despite these obstacles—including easements, setbacks, and waterfront restrictions—we worked tirelessly to get your permit approved. We understand that you're dealing with a lot right now, especially with your ongoing renovations, but it's difficult to see why the city's lengthy and exhausting permit process has been overlooked in your review, leading to misplaced blame on our team. You even complained to BBB for a refund complaint over the weekend while putting in your request on Friday at 2:41pm, not even giving us time to approve it while our office is closed on the weekends. Your impatience and public attacks cannot be comprehended.
The permit process requires teamwork between homeowners, our administrative staff, and city officials. It’s disappointing that our hardworking team has been singled out in this situation. As of now the city is still reviewing your permit. We have successfully completed larger projects in your neighborhood with great results. While we're sorry that your patience has worn thin, we still wish you the best with your ongoing projects. We hope this review, which may not accurately reflect the situation, won't unfairly harm your business. It's important to consider its potential impact on all parties involved.
Enjoy your fence!
