The way Katie, Janelle and Michele cared for our family was wonderful. Their support and attention to us as well as our loved one going through the medical challenges elevates family care to a level we didn’t see coming. We are forever grateful and would highly recommend.

Qualicare has been providing companion services to my mom for about 6 months. Katie and Janelle are amazing and have taken such good care of my mom. They genuinely care for my mom my mom's wellbeing and the quality of companionship that she receives. They are also super responsive when contacted. I highly recommend their services.

I cannot recommend Qualicare Home Care South Island enough. The care provided by this company was nothing short of exceptional. Their professionalism, kindness, compassion, and caring attitude made a difficult situation much more manageable for our family. We had been searching for a suitable home care solution for a loved one dealing with both diabetes and cancer. The challenges presented by their complex health needs were acknowledged by Qualicare, yet they still chose to step in and provide much-needed care. This willingness to take on a difficult case despite previous denials from other services speaks volumes about their commitment to helping those in need. Our loved one was initially hesitant to trust someone new coming into their home to assist them. However, the compassionate approach of the Qualicare team quickly helped to build that trust. The nurses and caregivers were not only attentive to the individual's medical needs but also took the time to provide thoughtful recommendations for comfort and safety within the home environment. Their adaptability and dedication to personalized care made a significant difference in our family member's quality of life. While everyone from the team that I engaged with was incredibly helpful from the onboarding process and the home care staff, I have to recognize Jamie who was there for him and handled one of the most difficult and disturbing situations that happened to our family member that Jamie had to witness and handle with physical and mental grace. This truly can be such a difficult job at times and we often times don't recognize that enough. VIHA's involvement in the matter was absolutely disgraceful and we are so happy we proceeded with private home care. It's clear that the team at Qualicare South Island truly cares about their work and the people they serve. Their hearts are undoubtedly in the right place. We are incredibly grateful for the support they provided our family during such a challenging time. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank Qualicare for helping our loved one and for making a positive impact on their life.

A wonderful home care company with amazing skilled staff. Janelle and Katie, the owners and nurses on staff are knowledge and provide excellent patient centered care. With how difficult public health care home support is these days, I really appreciate this company to provide a high level of care to our loved ones. They provide an excellent hospitals to home program and many other services. Thank you Katie and Janelle for providing a much needed service!

Vanessa's support went beyond physical care; she uplifted and encouraged me emotionally, helping me live life to the fullest despite my challenges. Thanks to Katie, Janelle, Michelle, and Donna for taking care of our parents after our mom’s operation. They showed a lot of kindness, flexibility, and attention to detail with the complex care, medications, walks, and help with household tasks that my parents needed at a critical time. Janelle, Katie and their team are simply amazing. Ready at a moment's notice to provide care that goes above and beyond anything the Victoria area has to offer. Working with budgets, special requests, and just finding unique and personal ways to connect with their clients at every shift, every day. The care takers at qualicare were amazing to my mother. Such lovely people and a great service. I would trust them with any members of my Family.

Qualicare provided the care my parents needed to stay in their home for as long as possible. My dad required complex care due to dementia and immobility, and my mom was unable to do any household duties due to immobility as well. Brittany was quick to respond to our request for service and sent in a team of qualified, caring, competent and friendly staff to take care of them. We were always confident that our parents were in good hands with Qualicare. We highly recommend their services to anybody.

Brittany and her staff provided excellent care for my husband, John, for almost a year. Our respite worker, JeAnne, was a good fit for us and especially for John. She came to our home 4 times a week and accompanied John on outings using HandyDart transportation. John’s quality of life was greatly improved (as was mine) with this support.
