Mike is an awesome coach! I started training tennis with him since late May, and I can’t believe how much my tennis skill has been improved - from knowing nothing about tennis, to be able play rally and match with some 3.0 player in 3 months! He is so knowledgeable about tennis, and really focus on the action detail. On the meanwhile, he is patient so i never feel pressured. Highly recommend! Don’t hesitate to signup a lesson with him!

I started off as a beginner when I first started getting coaching from Mike. I can honestly say that I have improved in the last year and a half. He has improved many aspects of my game. What I really like is during my lessons, he focuses on preparedness and footwork which has been super key to my improvement. He has increased my confidence to play matches. I would recommend Mike to anyone wanting to learn to play tennis or just improve. He is experienced and respectful in his teaching methods!

I just had the most incredible tennis lesson with Coach Mike, the founder of RAM tennis, and let me tell you, it was an experience I'll cherish! As someone who's over 40 and never had a tennis lesson before, I was a bit nervous and self-conscious about learning a new sport. But Coach Mike immediately put me at ease with his personable and friendly approach. From the very beginning, Coach Mike understood my concerns and was incredibly patient with me. He reassured me that it's never too late to start, and he tailored the lesson to my level and pace. I never felt rushed or overwhelmed, which was a big relief. His encouragement and positive attitude really boosted my confidence. Instead of focusing on what I couldn't do, Coach Mike highlighted the small adjustments that could make a big difference in my skills. His approach made me believe in myself and gave me the motivation to keep going. What impressed me the most was how Coach Mike taught me the basics of the court and the game in a way that was so easy to understand. He broke down the techniques into simple steps, and his concise instructions made it all so manageable. I tried so many different tennis coaches before - they would just feed me dead balls, give me random tips like "look at the ball", and take my money. They didn't seem to have passion or ability to diagnose the root cause of my problem. Coach Mike is different. He would tell me why I am making such mistakes and how to fix them. It has been almost 3 years since I started taking lessons from coach Mike and my game has changed tremendously.

Me and my 2 kids, 9 and 11 learned to play tennis for him. He is always encouraging and gives us important feedback. He always adjusted based on our schedule. (Mike, thanks for your patience and flexibility) Just completed 10 lessons. Looking forward to more. I highly recommend him.

Mike is a fantastic coach. I saw him coaching at one of the tennis courts in fremont. I asked him if he could teach my son, who used to be a complete newbie at tennis at that time. He was an 8th grader and had played baseball. Mike took him under his wing and started the tennis drills from the basic. Everything was a first for my son but he was able to quickly learn under Mike’s tutelage. Mike is very patient. He has knack with young people that makes them comfortable, and my son has developed excellent rapport with him. He teaches by positive reinforcement. My son made junior varsity in 9th and was a top JV player in 10th. He is aiming to be varsity player next year and Mike is helping him get there. I have seen mike teach adults as well. Some of them are really good players and they come to him for fine tuning their game. So whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or an advanced player, mike is an excellent coach and will meet your needs.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike as my tennis coach for the past couple of years, and I can confidently say that he is one of the best coaches out there.
