The overall organisation of the safaris is messy, guides/drivers are questionnable, safari start timings are not respected due to a complicated process (checking passeports, etc…) and there is not one single pick-up/drop-off logic, it all depends on the driver you are assigned to. From this POV, it cannot compare in any way to African safaris which we did several times… But, the incredible tiger sightings we had offset these frustrations… And the park landscapes and wildlife are stunning. We did 4x 3h safaris, and saw tigers in two of them. We were lucky enough to do zone 3 2x (currently the best zone as per local experts), where we saw the tigers. We also did zone 6 and 8, which based on our experience we would not recommend for tiger sightings (especially zone 8). Also, based on our experience, there tend to be quite some fog in the winter mornings, making it hard to find animals, reason why afternoon safaris might be more advisable if you can do only one. But again, the sightings are all luck based on nature/animals movements.

Great to learn about tigers, needs reservation few days before since tickets gets sold out quickly. Staff are knowledgeable and keen to explain

R N P has 10 zones and 70 plus tigers, cubs, tigresses and other wild animals. One to 5 zones are very beautiful and good for tiger sighting . But if you miss tiger then enjoy the beautiful water bodies, chirping birds, sambhar, boars, peacocks and so many. Nature is always beautiful it gives u peace. Prior booking is must

The booking system is pathetic, and there is no ticket on the counter, but you can get by agent any time 😡 When you go to get the tickets the inside officers give you phone number for them agent and tell you you can buy from them and then you pay 3.5 time amount and the all have happy dance end of the day.. When we drove all the way there and then no choice,(drive from long way you can't take risk for reserve it) I have some pictures to sair that's how they sow you the contact numberfrom window.
