Located in a charming neighborhood of Brooklyn, Recette is a hidden gem that offers a wonderful gastronomic experience. The service at Recette is impeccable, attentive, without being overbearing. The food is extremely tasty and high quality. The french onion soup is one of the best I've ever tried. The dessert is a special story - the unforgettable creme brulee. I highly recommend the restaurant.

We went to this restaurant on New Year's Eve, we ate very well and we were well served (especially Angela who advised us on the menu and with whom it was very pleasant to chat). We had a great evening and will definitely come back

Food tasted horrible and I was willing to pay because I felt bad but the waiter asked why I didn’t finish my food then I told him the Caesar salad was salty and fishy then he gave me an attitude for telling him that. Like what? I was willing to pay to avoid this awkwardness then he goes to tell the cook in spanish “these clowns think the food is too salty” then proceeded to try to charge us $10 for WATER. I laughed in his face and left.

Visited Recette right as they opened at 10 on a Saturday morning for brunch solo. There was one other table there, but I was told they needed to keep the tables inside available for reservations. That meant I then had to sit outside during a cold day with ineffectual heaters. Being outside also meant that it took longer to be acknowledged. I ordered the Croque Madame, with the eggs a bit overdone, but it was ok. When I left almost an hour later, the only other table that was sat was that same one when I arrived. I hadn't made a reservation, so I understand having to take what I could get. But to not have any actual reservations, or any other people at all, come in during the entire time I was there meant that my experience was less enjoyable for no good reason. Don't know that the food was good enough to make a return visit when the customer service is so dismissive to walk-ins.

Lovely place with the warm atmosphere and welcoming staff. We've enjoyed every drink and every dish that we've tried. definitely worth visiting.

The food and drinks are really good, people are very very nice and lovely. And the place is amazing I just had a really good time with my friends.

Recette in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is a cozy and inviting bistro with a menu that delivers on flavor and creativity. A lovely charming atmosphere with great background music, an excellent choice of food on the menu all of which is delicious. And to Top it off the service was friendly and excellent. My family of 5 really enjoyed it!

Such a cute place! Great food and nice service, everything we tried was really good. Drink is good as well.

My girlfriend & I walked around Brooklyn trying to decide what to eat & stumbled upon this dope spot! The host, bartenders, waiters.. Whoever set the arrangements, everything was so great! They recommended we share, so we started off with the Caesar salad then we had our main course the Short Rib Cavatelli with the Veal. Some fries on the side for good measure. For dessert we also shared the bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Highly recommend this spot & please enjoy all that it has to offer. Speak to everyone that works there since they’re so nice and willing!

The food was great but that's not why I'm sharing this review. While we were having our dessert, another patron that was sitting at the next table spilled all of our drinks on my lap by accident. The waitress and manager did an amazing job at smoothing it over, they offered us drinks and comped a percentage of the bill and were just really proactive about it. Once again, the food was great but the staff also does an amazing job, highly recommend!
