I loved my experience so much and I will forever treasure my education and experience I loved everything from the education to my mentor G.W. to my academic facilitators Zachary Sheets and Alex Torres they were extremely helpful and I’m so happy I was about to meet, come across, and work with these amazing individuals I am more than excited to start the next chapter of my career and I would be about to with out the help of this school or the amazing people that work in the facility

As a former student with another program for audio engineering coming to recording connection I wanted to have more hands on experience in the studio and allow myself to really immerse myself in the work. The hands on courses through recording connection are what sold me on the program and after finishing it I can say that those sessions are key contributors to why my music was able to take the next step. The online course would be helpful to a beginner and have a lot of value to some students but I found myself learning way more with my mentor than the online course. Overall an awesome learning experience over the last 6 months and i’m glad I found this opportunity.

Recording Connection definitely has a great community of artistic people. Meeting all the people I was able to meet through recording connection was definitely worth taking the program. Although to be realistically honest, the program does need a bit of an update. Thanks to my mentor, Donny Baker, he was able to provide value to the program. All in all, thankful that I made the decision to take the program and pursue my passion.

It was great to be in such a great studio

I had a very good experience with Recording Connection and my mentor Donny Baker from ES Audio Recording Studios. He taught me the things that I need to know about being an engineer/producer and to always be prepared for the gig and to keep the gig as well. I learned a lot from my mentor, other students that are more experienced, my Academic Facilitator Jon, and other engineers that worked there. I thank everybody that has helped me through this journey and will use the advice that has been given to me to improve as an engineer.

After being a musician for a couple of years, I've decided to take my music skills to the next level. I was very fortunate to have landed in Recording Connection, they helped me out since day one with my registration, and any paperwork needed. I was placed at ES Audio Studios in Glendale, CA. My mentor at the studio, Donny B. is very knowledgeable. He helped me through the process since the beginning. He helped me pick a great laptop suitable for Engineers. I had no clue of the existence of any DAW's, and after a few months of spending time at the studio, asking questions, getting a hands on experience, and doing colabs with other students/engineers I now have the privilege to be a professional. A huge thank you, to all who helped answer my questions and helped me grow as a professional engineer.

Recording Connection does a GREAT job at placing you into REAL studios with REAL engineers and opens the door to allow you to create those connections with your mentor, and continual learning. You truly get out of the program what you put in. Another great aspect of the program are the virtual advisors that can help you with question regarding Pro Tools and other material as well. Much props to Alex Solis for helping me through the program!

Recording connection has been an experience, but shout out to my student advisor Sam Zulfer! Even though we never met beyond the computer screen or over the phone, he was the a huge catalyst for completing the advance engineering program. I’ve learned a lot and gained much insight and very much appreciate it!

Recording Connection is an awesome experience primarily because it allows for a personalized, hands-on learning experience. This method of education was far more appealing to me than the large lecture format of a traditional school. One of the main benefits of the program is the academic facilitator, who is there whenever you need questions answered, available to assist you over video chat. My academic facilitator, Hunter Arbaugh, was an invaluable resource to my experience in the program, and I highly recommend him as an academic facilitator for students going forward. My mentor, Donny Baker at ES Audio in Burbank, is an incredible mentor who truly wants to see his students succeed in the industry, and does a fantastic job of getting students comfortable in a studio and around studio equipment. He also imparts important knowledge about the music industry to give students a realistic idea of what to expect going forward. Being able to learn recording skills in such a professional environment is nothing short of inspiring. The program also appealed to be due to the fact you can personalize your own schedule; this allows you to accommodate lessons around work and other duties outside the studio. For the experience you get at Recording Connection, the price of admission is well worth it, especially compared to other recording schools which don't offer the same hands-on, personalized experience. You will get out of the program what you put into it - it is all about utilizing your time at the studio and reaching out to your mentor and academic facilitator as resources. Overall I would highly recommend this program for anyone wanting to get the best introduction to the recording industry possible.

I had an absolute wonderful time here. My guy Alex Solis was the best student counselor a guy could ask for. If you're looking for a school for audio engineering; this is the one.

As someone who was already working in post production audio engineering I joined the Audio Engineering program to obtain a certificate to advance in my field, as well as come up with a better, more efficient workflow to bring to work. My mentor Donny Baker and my Academic Facilitator, Alex Solis have been amazing - helping me day to day to double check my work, or give me advice on pro tools, type of mic/audio I would need to work different events, such as live concerts, sound stages, in studio, and voice overs. Anytime I get stuck, or would like reassurance on the steps I’d take on tracking or mixing these two have gone above and beyond to ensure I put out the best quality work possible. The program has so much to offer, but working with my mentor and academic facilitator has certainly been the highlight.

Having SOOOOOO much fun working with these talented students of mine at RRFC here in My Studio! Song after Song after Song - Nothing but GOLD! The future of the music world is bright AF!
