I visited the salon of Tatiana Karelina to have new clip-in pieces made. I traveled specifically from the Netherlands for this. The quality of Tatiana's clip-in pieces is simply unmatched in my own country. The quality of the hair is truly sublime, and it stays beautiful for a very long time. Even the clip-ins I had made at this salon 1.5 years ago are still in excellent condition (despite wearing them almost daily). The staff are friendly, helpful, and extremely professional. I would highly recommend this salon. Craftsmanship and professionalism at its finest!

I recently had the pleasure of getting curly hair extensions done at Tatiana’s, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! From the moment I walked in, TK and her team made me feel completely welcomed and comfortable. They were not only professional but also took the time to listen to my specific needs and preferences. The attention to detail was evident, and the work they did was absolute perfection! A week later, I went to another salon to style my hair for an event, and even the hairstylist there was highly impressed with the quality of the extensions. When I discovered Tatiana's Karelina space I was able to regain my self-esteem. My hair had undergone a chemical cut, it was very fragile and damaged. I was very sad and dissatisfied with the other method of applying megahair in another salon, so that's when I discovered Tatiana's space through a friend . After months of frustration with a big and well known online extensions brand, that sadly I wasted my money on just to end up with frizzy tangled hair, I was about to give up hope. That's when I found Tatiana Karelina’s Salon, and it was such a game changer! The salon has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, so luxurious and girly and the staff are not only professional but also genuinely caring. I explained my hair struggles to them, and they took the time to listen attentively and understood exactly what I needed. Now, let's talk about the extensions. Oh WOW, what a difference! The quality of the hair is exceptional—it's soft, silky, and feels just like my own natural hair. The color match is spot-on, and the extensions blend seamlessly with my own hair, giving me that flawless, natural look I always wanted. No one can even tell I am even wearing extensions! The hair looks and feels AMAZING, I can even let it air dry which I have never been able to do with previous extensions. No more frustration, it literally is a dream come true for me and I can’t thank Tatiana Karelina & her team enough. They’ve changed the game for me and I couldn’t be happier. They have literally restored my faith in hair extensions and I can’t wait to go back to the Salon soon!

just wanted to emphasise in writing my disappointment after having my hair appointment on Wednesday 8th November. During the initial appointment, the new hair that was put in was much more curlier than my hair, I had to intervene a few times and tell the stylist that I did not feel comfortable with this and the decision was made to take the hair out and put another new set of hair in. The time wastage in this and the lack of knowledge of the stylist was slightly worrying. Due to the time it had taken already I was in a rush to leave and get back to do the school pick up. When assessing my hair at home, I noticed several things I am not happy with. Firstly, the quality of hair is not the same as my original hair that I came in with, the strands are a lot thinner and the positioning of the strands are all clumped up in one area at the back of my head. The rows don’t have any gaps in between them, leaving the bottom of my scalp very empty. The reason for having a new set altogether was due to having an important event that I needed to attend. In 3 days, more than 7 strands have fallen out and so many are loose. After writing several emails and ringing the salon - they made me wait a week before seeing me again at this point almost 12 strands had fallen out. When I arrived at the salon- the boss, Tatiana came in and started questioning why the strands had fallen out implying that I had taken them out -I explained to her that I was a long standing customer and had never complained before, when I discussed the quality of the hair she made it seem as that they have given me top quality hair which was not the case - her attitude to me being displease with my hair was awful after I have spent over £800 and traveled twice to see them - I felt uncomfortable while being there and frankly her attitude is awful. When I was leaving the salon they had the audacity to try and charge me for 4 extra strands they had put into my hair - when I ask to speak to her about this she didn’t even have the courtesy to come upstairs and talk to me they said she was busy with a meeting and brushed me off. As I mentioned I have been a customer for years but frankly the quality of this salon has gone down hill especially with the staff and quality of hair and Tatiana really needs to treat her customers with more respect - she forgets her business is built on the money of her clients. I have never complained, so this around I felt so let down, disheartened and disrespected. I will be taking my business elsewhere I suggest you do the same.

Hi Shabana, It is important that when you post a review, the narrative you provide reflects an accurate account of events. This accuracy is the foundation of your credibility with the readers of your review. In your review, you say that “After writing several emails and ringing the salon - they made me wait a week before seeing me again at this point almost 12 strands had fallen out.” The more accurate version of the events was that you called us with your concerns on 10th November, 2 days after your appointment. You were offered to come in straight away. You couldn’t come in due to your personal commitments and booked an appointment on the 16th of November. Then you emailed on Saturday, the 11th of November. Juli responded to you by email first thing on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023 (we are closed Sundays and Mondays). In her email, she wrote, “Thank you for your email, and I am very sorry to hear that you’re very unhappy with the service provided and the hair. We have to investigate as one of our most senior technicians worked with you. We also have to check the hair. Your appointment is booked on Thursday, November 16th, at 10 am, and we would like you to come in as this is the only way for us to sort everything and see what is happening. If you would like to come in tomorrow, we can see you at 1 pm or 3:30 pm. Please let us know if you would prefer to stick with Thursday or move it to tomorrow.” You replied that you couldn’t come in and kept your appointment on November 16th, 2023. During your initial appointment, the hair was picked and chosen by you, like many times before; you always take part in choosing the hair bundles. Whether you didn’t like your choice or simply changed your mind – we accommodated it right away and swapped the set of prebonded hair into a different texture. No questions asked! At the appointment on the 16th November, Tatiana checked the hair herself and asked standard questions like did you use conditioner on the roots. She then explained that this set of hair you asked us to install on the 8th November was longer than your previous set and consequently, it was not possible to achieve the same perfectly blended result you had with shorter hair extensions with the smallest amount of extensions. It was further explained, both on 8th November and 16th, that the longer you go the more hair needs to be installed. Tatiana then gave you two options: 1) add more hair or 2) cut the length of hair extensions shorter. You did not want to cut extensions shorter, so the team gave you a cost for adding an extra line of extensions for better blending. The old and new strands were installed; after the new hair was trimmed and styled, it was time to take payment (£67), and you refused to pay. Tatiana was busy at the clinic downstairs; she authorised allowing the team to not charge you but put a note in the system to not book you again. We totally accept the fact that even if we strive for perfection, we aren’t always perfect. But what makes a good business is how they deal with unsatisfied customers. In your case, we immediately acknowledged the fact that you were unhappy. We invited you back in, once again explained how to solve the problem you were having. We were sympathetic, understanding, and took immediate action. We responded to you promptly and got you in at the first available time that worked for your schedule. We fixed the issue, and you left happy on the 16th November, such that we haven’t heard from you until now when you decide it was somehow the right time to leave a review, 110 days later. While no business likes to lose a client, in this case, it is for the best. We took this decision on the 16th November not to have you back after you walked out without paying. We value and respect our clients and only want clients that do the same. We hope you will find the right salon to suit your hair requests.

I first came to Tatiana Karelina for hair extensions 2.5 years ago. They were initially very honest about what could be achieved and how to do so without causing any damage to my own hair. Instead of trying to upsell they were very honest and recommended starting with less and building up if it all worked out OK for my very fine hair. I loved my extensions from the beginning and the blend of hair texture and colour was a perfect match to my own hair. After a trial for a few weeks we added more strands (started with a half head and moved to three quarters) to increase the volume. No one could tell it wasn't my natural hair and actually only noticed when I got a fresh set and my hair 'grew' 5 inches overnight! My first set of hair lasted for 2 years and is still in really good condition so I can use it to make a ponytail or braid in the future. My own hair has not been damaged at all and is growing well. I love every visit to the salon, the team are so lovely and seem to get on very well. There is always a very nice atmosphere when I visit. Getting my hair done at Tatiana's has changed my life, I feel so much more confident and much happier with my appearance. I feel like the process and the outcome is worth every penny and recommend the salon to anyone considering extra length or volume.

I had an amazing experience at Tatiana Karelina. From the first consultation, Tatiana welcomed my mother (whom the appointment was for) and me, walking us through every single step of the process, including installation, maintenance, prices and more. On the day of the installation, the entire team made my mum feel at home, showing a personal interest that you don't often find in many places. Maria did a beautiful job with the Micro-Rings (she's very talented) and provided my mum with an amazing experience. The custom blend of colours is absolutely amazing (flawless). Overall, an amazing team, owner, and salon. Will most definitely be returning and incredibly glad to of found Tatiana Karelina. FYI first photo is straight after walking out the salon!

Can't rate this salon highly enough. Lovely staff, great attention to detail, and good quality hair. Their technique for applying micro-rings, for example - on my most recent fitting I didn't have a single piece come out (it's normal to lose several per fitting). It's expensive, but all real hair extensions are, and better to pay for quality. People are always shocked when they comment on my lovely hair and I point out I have hair extensions.

I have been coming to this salon for at least 5 years if not more. I absolutely love it and would rate it excellent. I have never ever had a bad experience. You are greeted my friendly, happy, polite and professional staff. I always get a quick response to my emails to book. My actual hair has remained healthy in all this time - unlike my first terrible expeirence elsewhere that left my hair so damaged. They also have always done an incredible colour match to my own hair which is highlighted blonde.

The team at the salon are sooooo nice, professional (and hilarious, to be honest 😉 ). Anna helped me with a bald spot I was left with after a cancer related surgery. I needed extra hair for my wedding and cover the area, and she was accomodating, understanding and patient. It really feels like you're having a girls day with friends.
