The unit was great, amazing views and wonderful amenities. Very clean and well laid out. Very quiet area and a quick walk to West End. Highly recommended!

Really great place! It was about a 10 min walk into the heart of West End. Modern decor, fast internet, nice lighting, AC. All the amenities at home you could want (*actually* sharp knives and nonstick cookware, kitchenaid stand mixer, air fryer, blender, fancy espresso machine, pantry stocked with a complete set of spices, washer/dryer, TVs, the list goes on). Ramona was super helpful getting us settled in and was able to answer any questions we had or weird requests (like what we should expect to pay for rambutan or providing us duct tape when we asked for it). It might be worth packing earplugs if you are a sensitive sleeper and depending on the time of year. The winds were really something when we were there in early December and really buffeted the place at times, though it was well sound isolated and proofed otherwise. Also while there is a stone pier to access the water, it was far too windy and rocky for us to feel safe accessing the water from there, but that also wasn't a problem because there were beaches a short walk away. Overall, great stay and would highly recommend!

Each morning, we were greeted by breathtaking sunrises, and every evening ended with serene sunsets. The panoramic vistas from the private terrace made it feel as though we were perched on the edge of paradise, with the vibrant reef just steps away. The accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. The layout was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with elegant furnishings and modern amenities that ensured complete comfort. The well-equipped kitchen, inviting living spaces, and peaceful bedrooms made it a joy to relax and spend quality time as a family. And that terrace — it became our favorite spot for everything from morning coffee to late-night conversations under the stars. What truly made this experience exceptional was the level of care and professionalism from the hosts and property manager. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. From providing excellent recommendations to ensuring our needs were met promptly, their dedication to guest satisfaction was unparalleled. As a family, we’ve traveled to many beautiful destinations, but Penthouse Reef 16 stands out as one of the finest. We had an unforgettable stay at the Reef16 Penthouse on Roatan! The check-in was seamless, and we were warmly welcomed by the Property Manager, who made us feel right at home. The Penthouse itself was pristine, with everything beautifully furnished and thoughtfully designed. It was spacious, luxurious, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The large windows offered panoramic views that made us feel as though we were right on the water. We watched stunning sunrises and sunsets daily! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we found every amenity we could need—it’s truly a well-equipped paradise. During our stay, we went diving with Sun Divers and Moana Divers, both of whom were fantastic. We appreciated the professionalism and stunning dive spots they introduced us to. Beyond diving, we explored Half Moon Bay, spending an afternoon snorkeling and lounging on the boat swing. We also took a water taxi to West Bay Beach for a perfect beach day. Dining in Roatan was a delight too! We enjoyed dinners at Roatan Oasis, SilverSides, and The Beach House, all of which we’d highly recommend. Reef16 is the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and adventure—an absolute gem! We can’t wait to come back!

All I can say is wow! The Property Manager as well as the owner went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They were very accommodating and recommended great restaurants as well as tourist attractions. They also made arrangements for transportation and stayed in touch to make sure that I had everything that I needed. Two of my friends accompanied me on this trip and they were in awe of how great the customer service was and the beauy of the property. They thought of everything...top notch appliances and all that you would need to prepare a gourmet meal; beautiful rooms with great closet space and breathtaking views of the beach from every angle of the condo. I really appreciated the extra toiletries that were in each bathroom and the pantry goodies. If you're looking for a 5 star vacation spot, I highly recommend Reef 16. You will not be disappointed.

Just wrapped up a long stay and it's definitely worth recommending. The place has a great setup - nice ocean views and really comfortable. You're about a 5-minute walk from the beach, cafes, dive shops, and local markets. The apartment itself is well-equipped. There's a workspace with good internet if you need to get some work done. Bill and Ramona are attentive, quick to respond and helpful with any questions or needs. Location's a big plus. It's quiet but still close to everything, so you don't really need to rent a car. Overall, if you're looking for a good spot in West End, this penthouse is a solid choice. It’s great for both short trips and longer stays.

We were blown away as soon as we walked in. This place looks like the vacation of your dreams! Million dollar views but also relaxed and unassuming. The condo is perched atop a stylish and crisp villa with expansive ocean views in every direction. It was clean, airy, well appointed and stylish. It was comfortable and elegant and there was enough space for everyone to have their own space but also lovely for gatherings around the dining table, the open kitchen, the two balconies or the beautiful pool. You can snorkel off the property. The bathrooms and kitchen were fully equipped and the espresso machine was amazing! Beds were comfortable and we slept well. 5 minute walk into town with shops, bars, wonderful restaurants, (we LOVED Roa Tacos!!), MANY Dive Shops (we used Native Sons) but the condo is also very quiet and secluded. Safe to walk at night too. Ramona, the property manager was welcoming, attentive and thorough in her tour. This place has it all! We can't wait to come back!

Reef 16 is a spectacular villa. 360 water views. Immaculately designed and maintained. The villa was well stocked with all the amenities to enjoy this home away from home. The villa was a short walk from the heart of Roatan. We had visited Roatan before via cruise but staying at this villa truly allowed us to experience Roatan as locals do and not as just tourists. The owners were beyond accommodating, will be staying again.

First off let me say -- such an incredible experience and the accommodations were first class all-around. We stayed four nights - 3/23 to 3/27 - and the weather was perfect. 80's, sunny, breezy, perfect. My son and I were picked up at the airport by Marty -- a ride service arranged by the host. No waiting, no haggling -- the price was preset. Marty or one of his drivers took us anywhere we needed to go -- just shot him a quick WhatsApp message and the ride was arranged. That was a huge win as opposed to flagging down taxi's and getting price gouged. The location of the condo is really cool -- a quick walk into West End for food, groceries, drinks, pretty much anything. We walked into town for each meal. The condo is located on tiny little finger that extends out into the ocean so you have remarkable ocean views on three sides. Almost makes you feel like you are at sea. The kiddo loved that. The property manager/concierge - Ramona - was incredible. Not only is she great with kids but she is incredibly knowledgeable about the island and West End -- and she's fluent in several languages including Spanish, which was hugely helpful. She helped us get around to all of the activities we had planned -- dolphin swim, snorkeling, flyfishing -- and she even helped my six year old get comfortable with his snorkeling equipment in the condo pool. She was a delight. We can't wait to go back -- hopefully later this year. The only downside is that we didn't stay longer.
