Great selection of coffee and cozy place to relax. My granddaughters had several games, puzzles, and books to keep them entertained, with the added option of a lovely outdoor play area. This coffee shop is unlike the others. It's just a great spot to hang out with the whole family, enjoy some great coffee, and let your kids enjoy the outdoor area and activities.

Refuge is seriously our favorite spot in town! My children looove coming here to enjoy the playground while I get to enjoy some delicious coffee! We've had nothing but great experiences. My girls love to visit with the chickens and even hang out with the goats when they have their goat events. I love ordering coffee off their seasonal menus and love that they have organic options and quality snacks that I actually approve of for my kids. The events they host are always a highlight, too! From live music to local pop-ups, there's always something happening that makes each visit special. I highly recommend Refuge to anyone looking for a cozy, family friendly atmosphere with great coffee!

Visiting family while in town and stopped by because the place looked interesting. Boy was it interesting!!! They have a good variety of coffee and beers available! Delicious coffee and pastries intoxicate the whole place it smells incredible! Cozy and good size inside with board games and a big patio/yard area with a long of picnic tables, and even a playground for the kids. They do also have a food truck if you want something savory. Can't wait to visit family again so I can come visit this spot!

If you love matcha and DT is working, you’re in for a big treat! He made me a lavender caramel matcha that is AMAZING! The shop is so cute and quaint, and the taco truck outside will not disappoint. A new favorite spot for sure!

Went back a second time and the employees are just so friendly you feel right at home. They definitely value customer service. Everything was clean, trash cans were empty, and it was the evening so they had some lights outside and a fire. I ordered the banana pudding donut and the seasonal chai latte called silent night. Wanted to try a new local coffee spot, and this place did not disappoint! We tried a couple of their holiday drinks: My boyfriend ordered the silent night, rating it a 8/10 and mentioned that he would order it again. I ordered the "Light of the world" which was great, 7/10 but after asking the barista to make it a bit sweeter for me, she worked her magic and turned it to a 10/10. As far as the ambiance, the place was super modern looking and had lots of different types of seating for you to get comfy in. They even had a game wall, where you can find all the classics to pass time. Plus! There was an outside if you're wanting some fresh air or want the kiddos to run around in the playground We will definitely be back thanks to the great customer service provided by the ladies at the front (whom I didn't get the names of)

This place is awesome! For a cup of coffee, a healthy snack, a study spot, client meeting place, an adult beverage while the kids play outside, just a great all-around place to stop and relax. Staff is very friendly and welcoming! Highly recommended!

A lot of seating indoors, which is nice if you want a place you can sit and study/work for a longer period of time. The inside area wasn't too noisy or anything so I was able to focus and get a lot done. Just a teeny bit cold inside for me though! I went on a Sat. and the weather was really good so most customers were outside in the patio area. It's a really nice place to get out of the house with your family for a little while. The yard/patio area is nice for kids to play, and there's plenty of benches/tables/swings for adults. Good variety of coffee, although I'm a matcha drinker and their matcha was just okay.
