Their food is one of the high-quality Arabic food with Amsterdam standards. We like their rice dishes and BBQs! They are amazing!
But unfortunately, they are very inconsistent in quality. Food that has sauces or salads is sometimes delivered and sometimes not. The Kebabs are sometimes spiced properly, sometimes not. If they fix these issues, it would be a great restaurant, but until then, as a customer, you are up for a surprise every single time.

Adjusting it to 4 stars as the quality has been consistently good for the past few times I ordered.

I visited with friends. The interior of it is really nice. Food was good and tasty specially grilled meats. Staff was friendly and helpful.

أنا متعودة أطلب أو آكل بمطعم شام اوست بالشرق، بس هالمرة قررت أجرب التوصيل من فرع شام west بالغرب ، وبصراحة تفاجأت بشكل إيجابي!
الطلبية وصلت بسرعة، وكان الأكل مغلف بشكل مرتب وبقي سخن. الطعم كان نفسه اللي متعودة عليه بالفرع التاني طيب وفريش. هالشي بيأكد إنو الجودة ثابتة بكل الفروع، وهاد الشي كتير مهم لسمعة اسم المطعم ورضا الزبائن 😊

Het eten is lekker en de sfeer is fijn. Wat niet fijn is dat ze niet eerlijk zijn. We hebben 2x een menu voor 2 personen besteld, maar we hebben niet het volledige menu gekregen en wel de volle prijs betaald. En dat vind ik helemaal niet ok. En dit is niet de eerste keer, precies hetzelfde iets gebeurde bij mensen om mijn heen en m’n Nederlandse buren. We hebben 2x Sham Royal besteld ..en wat we hadden gekregen is alleen 1 Sham Royal met één extra hoofdgerecht. En we moesten betalen voor die 2. Ik vind dat manipulatief en inacceptabel. Graag meer eerlijkheid.
المطعم جميل لكن المصداقيه سيئه جدا جدا جدا ،طلبنا طلب لأربع أشخاص وتلاعبوا بالطلب حتى ما ينزلوا كل الطلب. كان شي كتير سيئ ،كان الحساب غالي جدا على طلبات ما نزلت على الطاوله.
وهي ما اول مره بتصير ،عدة مرات صارت مع أشخاص حولي وتكلموا بهالموضوع على مطعم شام. التلاعب أبدا ما مقبول ولو مع هولنديين أو أجانب عنجد شيئ بخجل مع الأسف ،المطعم جميل جدا بس المصداقيه صفر.

Had a feast on my own. Everything tasted unbelievably tasty! The food was fresh, full of flavours and cooked with love. The staff were friendly and treated me to babaganoush on house. Thank you!

Voor het eerst besteld bij Sham en heel erg teleurgesteld. Mezzes voor 2 personen besteld en het leek alsof iedere mezze uit nog geen twee eetlepels bestond. Ook de shish tawuk broodjes waren heel klein. Al met al veel te duur voor de hoeveelheid eten dat je krijgt. Jammer aangezien in de Arabische keuken altijd goede porties worden geserveerd.
