Very great service

Could not recommend Ridgeside K9 more. They did an amazing job with obedience training our 1 year old husky! Now we have a well behaved dog thanks to them!

I retract my former review. My humblest apologies to the owners. it was unfair to listen to only one side of the story and trust that it is the truth. Great program, great trainers, great owners.

Highly recommend! We had our boys boarded and trained with their trainer, George. They now have more confidence, heel on walks with no more pulling, and better all around obedience. Thank you!

Murray came back a changed boy! He's so much calmer and his time with the other dogs is so much more enjoyable for them all now that he's not so erratic. We definitely want to send our reactive pup to where his brother went to "sleepaway camp" now!

We had an amazing experience with Shannon and Lacey!! They kept us updated with our puppy progress. He learned a lot of stuff and definitely calmer than before!!! Highly recommended if you need to get your puppy trained!

We had two different service experiences with Ridgeside after a referral from a friend. Mike came out weekly for one on one training for our puppy at our house until she had her shots. He did a wonderful job. Then, when our pup hit four months old, we sent her to the two week puppy boarding school. Rob did an amazing job. We loved the nightly updates with pics and/or videos of her progress. Our pup is doing so much better. When we went to a recent vet visit, and we realized the vet tech’s dog was trained at the same place, the vet tech was very quickly able to use the same commands. You can tell that they sincerely care about doggies and our pup was treated with respect and love. They both are very knowledgeable with modern training techniques and dog psychology.

We were lucky enough to have both our Danes trained by Mackenzie. She worked with our 5 year old with his social skills and door manners while concurrently training our new puppy. Mackenzie was remarkable in both her training techniques and her communication with us during the training process. We are so thrilled with the results and look forward to working with her again soon. Added bonus, Mackenzie will also help with boarding while we travel. Super happy about the whole experience

Ridgeside K9 did an outstanding job with our little 6 month old Rottweiller, Kaia. In 3 short weeks they instilled discipline and attention to detail in a ridiculously energetic and chaotic puppy. Thanks to McKenzie, Kaia’s trainer, Kaia now looks forward to learning and showing off her newfound skills. She has also become much easier to walk and just a much better behaved dog overall. McKenzie kept us updated throughout the entire training with text summaries of what Kaia learned that day along with pictures and videos! Seeing our puppy respond so well to the training truly showed how much work McKenzie put in and how much she cares for all dogs. We felt that she treated Kaia as her own puppy and even went the extra mile and had a photo shoot with Kaia for thanksgiving, dressing her up and posing her for the holiday. We are extremely pleased and consider ourselves lucky to have stumbled upon Ridgeside K9 to train our little lady. Not to mention train us! After the 3 week course, McKenzie came by to deliver Kaia but also spent close to 2 hours teaching us how to continue to train her and answer any and all questions we had. We learned a lot of “do’s” and “don’ts” and know that Kaia will benefit the most because of that. Thank you for being an incredible company, we look forward to continue using Ridgeside for any future training and potential boardings we may need.

I would recommend Ridgeside K9 to anyone who wants the best training availble and professional service in this industry. We were kept informed of our dog’s (Dakota) daily training and results with written video reports. Our trainer Rob obviously loves his job and I know Dakota loved him by his reaction when Rob left after then end of our training.

I can’t recommend Ridgeside K9 enough for their boarding and training services. We sent both of our Labrador retrievers—Artie, our six-year-old, and Maxi, our rambunctious 11-month-old—for training, and the results have been nothing short of amazing. Before training, Artie was the perfect, well-behaved dog. But after bringing in Maxi, a lovable yet very alpha pup, we noticed changes in Artie’s behavior. Maxi needed to learn essential manners like staying off counters and not bolting, and we wanted both dogs to thrive together. Since they’ve returned from Ridgeside, it’s like we have our old Artie back, and Maxi feels like a brand-new dog. He’s now incredibly obedient and well-mannered, making life so much easier and happier for everyone. Special shoutout to our trainers, Lacey and Shannon, who were simply phenomenal. Their communication was top-notch—they sent daily pictures and videos, keeping us updated every step of the way. One day, they even called with excitement to share how Maxi impressed them with his perfect behavior during a visit to Lowe’s! Ridgeside K9 has been the best investment we’ve made for our dogs. I’ve been recommending them to everyone I know because their program truly transforms dogs and sets them up for a long, happy life with their families. If you’re considering training for your dog, don’t hesitate—Ridgeside K9 is the best choice you’ll ever make!

George was great and very communicative!

We had Brittany as a trainer. Not only did she ask about areas we would specifically like to work on, she addressed them and our pup Indigo is now a very polite girl. The training doesn't stop once we get our pups home, so when we did pick up we got ours. Brittany taught us how to continue and reenforce all the work she did.

Fantastic experience. Brittany is a gifted trainer and we will be sending our next dog to her. Mila says two paws up! She was a very reactive dog and has returned to us a chilled companion. Walking the dog is so much more pleasurable than being walked by the dog.

I can’t recommend them enough! Shannon and Lacy took my 4month old puppy, Kronk, for 10days for training. The big thing for him was his confidence and independence. It is insane how much progress was made in just 10 days! Shannon and Lacy were always in touch with me sharing photos and updating me on what he was working on. When Kronk arrived back to me for graduation they provided so much information and walked me through implementing every thing he learned right at home and in challenging public environments. Everything was specifically tailored to Kronk’s needs and what is going to set him up for success later in life. Thank you so much guys!

After years of having smaller breeds, we decided to get a larger breed with lots of energy. Although excited to welcome him into our family, we wanted help giving him a jump start on the training basics. Mackenzie did a phenomenal job with our 12 week old Golden Irish Retriever! Daily updates throughout his training with her, gave us an understanding of what he was learning, what we needed to keep up with once he returned, and peace of mind he was being cared for in her home. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Ridgeside K9 as our puppy grows up!
