This was the best customer experience I've ever had on the Sunshine Coast. Wendy and Kris provided outstanding customer service—exceptionally helpful and highly professional. I just had my regular service done here, and everything was absolutely perfect.

I did a six speed conversion on my 06' WRX which necessitated a speedo drive kit installation. I contacted Wendy at RSS and on the following Monday I shipped my front diff housing from Melbourne to Marcoola, it was back in my possession the following Friday. That involved them disassembling the diff from the housing, machining the case, installation of the speedo drive and reassembly, plus a 4000km round trip. All things considered, an extremely fast turn around. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend RSS they were 100% professional lighting fast and as an added bonus, dealing with Wendy was a pleasure. All in all a totally no fuss operation, which is exactly as it should be.

Had a wonderful experience with Wendy and the team. They fit me in for a service on short notice, and did a thorough, efficient, no-bullshit job. Really appreciate it!!!

Took my subaru outback in today for a service and was astounded with the friendliness and care by the team at rising sun subaru, I'm really glad I chose to take it to these guys as the whole thing was easy and I could tell they really care about their customers.

Update: August 2022 -- Yet again Wendy and Kris have helped me several times through this year, including navigating some more tricky mechanical issues (EJ 2.5 Turbo life). Can't recommend them high enough! Update: May 2022 -- Yet again Wendy and Kris continue to be great to me with my Subaru ! Kris and Wendy have helped with with numerous aspects of my Subaru fleet. Small business when values the personal touch. I've been a customer for a number of years after first finding them for an early project and will continue to be for many more.

Traveling up and down coast and oil light came on last night after work, then again this morning half way to work. Stopped by Rising Sun, door open working on mates’ vehicle but business closed. He was still happy to stop, check my oil, and give me a top up…as his mates said “he’s a lovely guy!”

Customer service and knowledge is top tier. Highly recommend Rising Sun Subaru for a professional experience. Kris and Wendy will be my go to from now on.

Do not recommend letting Rising Sun Subaru touch your engine, You will end up paying twice as much, Had the Option 2 Closed Deck rebuild with the heads done, Cost was 10 Grand +, Less than 15,000km later massive engine failure due to Gudgeon Pin Circlip coming out which wasn't installed properly causing major damage, Bent Crank, All bearings and Pistons and Rods are all stuffed, Bores need resleeving the list goes on and on, Basically whole motor stuffed 10 Grand + of my hard earned money down the drain, Not once have they taken responsibility for it, Just trying to blame tuning Which in no way what so ever can cause a Gudgeon pin Circlip to fall out, (What a Joke) All they can offer is another rebuild at my expense which will cost another 9 grand as they offered some small discounts. Don't make the same mistake I did by trusting Fraudsters, Go through a actual Perfomance Motorsports Shop you can trust, Would give them no star if I could.
