The absolute best! Roaming Camels has the most amazing customer service we have ever experienced! We are a well-traveled family, visiting places all over the world. This summer, we took a family trip for our first time to Morocco, visiting Casablanca, Marrakech, the Atlas Mountains, the Agafay Desert, Agadir and Essaouira. Roaming Camels made every detail of our tour personal and perfect. We went to places off the beaten path giving us a true Moroccan experience. From the recommendations on places to stay to cultural sites to transportation, their guides were so enthusiastic to share their knowledge of this beautiful country. From the history to its customs to any questions we had about our surroundings, they were happy to engage and educate us. The transportation was comfortable and drivers were incredibly safe. Mustapha runs an excellent organization of highly qualified guides who genuinely care about your experience. We plan to return and wouldn't think of using anyone else to make our next visit as perfect as the first.

Trip Through Wonderful Morocco with Mustapha as our Guide Mustapha was the ideal tour guide for our large group travelers! This was my first trip to Morocco and I was uncertain what to expect, especially because we were visiting during Ramadan. Mustapha put us at ease from our first meeting in the hotel lobby in Casablanca. He introduced himself and his Moroccan background, explained trip logistics, gave us some information on the country, and took us to an excellent dinner. We traveled throughout Morocco from Chefchaouen, through the mountains to Fez, and to our final city, Marrakesh. Throughout our trip, Mustapha enhanced our experience by sharing stories of his country, culture, and his life. Traveling during Ramadan poses some challenges in finding meals during the daytime hours for a group of 16 tourists, guides, and a bus driver. However, Mustapha arranged for meals during the long legs of our bus journey by taking us to the homes of people he knew along our route. We were warmly welcomed into these homes, traditions were explained, and food lovingly prepared by families was spread before us. What a great experience! We were made to feel extremely comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings. People seemed to know Mustapha wherever we went, and he was always greeted with warmth, which reinforced my impression that he is deeply respected and well-liked. Mustapha went out of his way to ensure we all had the opportunity to do the things we wanted, and he did so with good humor and kindness. He made my first visit to the beautiful country of Morocco comfortable, fun, and memorable. I highly recommend Mustapha your guide for your trip to Morocco!

The best way to see Morocco! My family and I traveled with Roaming Camels in February for about 10 days and we cannot recommend it more! Our loop started in Marrakech, where we were greeted by the owner at the airport. He kept his own whatsapp group with us the whole trip so we could directly contact him if any issues came up (none did), and he also checked in with us periodically. We met our driver, Bachir, the next day and he was a very welcoming, friendly guy who drove us all over morocco for the following week. He was very knowledgeable and conversational and acted as both a driver and a guide, which we could not have appreciated more! They planned out a great itinerary, taking us through Marrakesh, Atlas mountains, the Sahara desert, Fes, Chefchaouen, Casablanca, and many other stops along the way. Each place we stayed was great quality, authentic converted riads, and had amazing hospitality. Bachir made sure that we saw every single thing we wanted to, and even stopped more times when we passed things that he thought would be interesting to us. They planned everything very well for us and accommodated all our requests. They truly treated us like family and made sure we were well taken care of our whole stay and got the most out of the trip.

Professional and comprehensive, it was much more than simply a driver for hire. We didn't anticipate such an outstanding experience with Bachir. An Immersion into the Warm, Welcoming Moroccan Culture Our trip Morocco was nothing short of life changing. From a group of strangers becoming a tribe to the immense beauty of the countryside, the unique energy vibe in each city to the quiet luxury of the hammam experience, the delicious, well cooked meals to the excitement of negotiating a price for your latest treasure find, it was truly an incredible experience. And our patient, roll with the flow guide Mustapha helped us to negotiate ’all the things’ we wanted to try and do and experience. Over the course of our nine day trip we were given the opportunity to embrace the Moroccan lifestyle by exploring their cites, tasting their delicious food and experiencing their culture firsthand. We never felt unsafe, our accommodations were always clean and lovely and we had a comfy travel coach that was expertly driven over the many stunningly gorgeous mountainous passes throughout our journey. So if you’re looking for an adventure to a new place, this trip should be at the top of your bucket list.

Exceeded Expectations To say our trip was amazing, is putting it mildly. From our meeting at the airport with our driver/guide, Bachir, to begin our 22 day travel through Morocco, well supported by Roaming Camel's, Mustapha, who was always checking in to make sure all was good, and we were happy, to the local city guides who were very knowledgeable and very professional, they helped us plan an unforgettable trip. While our trip took us from Casablanca to Rabat, Tangier, Fez, Chefchaouen, Merzouga, Marrakech, Essaouira and El-Jadida and so much in between, it was the extra touches....from tea with an elderly nomad woman, to special food experiences and to top it off, an unexpected and unplanned visit to the Anima Gardens, we were 'over the top' delighted. Thank you Kathi, Mustapha and special thanks to Bachir, a knowledgeable, good natured, and very helpful and excellent driver/guide.

Marrakesh - Sahara - ocean and back I can second the previous opinion. We had a pleasure to be driven around Morocco by Agouim Houssein, and I can recommend him as a very patient, reliable, punctual, friendly guide, with good communication. Not only Camels 😄 It was a time full of gorgeous impressions. Thanks to Houssein Agouim, who was our guide and irreplaceable driver we spent our carefree two weeks of our vacation 😄 Traveling from Marrakesh along High Atlas Mountains until after dunes of Sahara and back up to the shores of the Atlantic. Among others we were visiting date oasis, learning about the history of the Amazir peoples and visiting numerous "Casbas", defensive buildings of historical Berber families, exploring the beauty of the Draa River canyon, driving camels, surfing in waves of ocean and finding peace during yoga classes :) It was so exciting and relaxing time! Thanks Houssein for your patient and that, you were always in place 💪👌 We thank our friends for sharing this time with us and we plan to come again.

Awesome 3 day tour Marrakech to Fes We did a fantastic private three day tour from Marrakech to Fes via Sahara Desert. Our driver Ahmed was very friendly and happily answered our endless questions in great English. He knew a lot about all the places we visited. The accommodation in Dades Valley was outstanding. Roaming Camels did a great job organising our tour and were very flexible. We highly recommend them.

Excellent trip wtih Roaming Camels Recently finished a 2-week tour of Morocco with Roaming Camels. We were four in our group and were accompanied by a driver and guide. Worked with Kathi to plan our trip and itinerary that met our interests. Once the tour started it was evident how passionate and knowledgeable the guide and driver were about their country. They looked after all our needs and transported us safely across the country, providing us with lots of information about the local culture and customs and answering all our questions. Once in Morocco, Mustapha was in constant contact to ensure we had everything we needed and was available in case there were any issues… we had none. Would highly recommend Roaming Camels, they were a great company to work with and provided an excellent service.

2 couples in Morocco We have just returned from a 2 week vacation in Morocco that only be described as the trip of a lifetime! From our first contact with Kathi we felt that the Roaming Camels understood our needs and expectations. Our guide Idriss and driver Mohammed made sure that we were comfortable and provided much historical and cultural context to everything we saw in this beautiful country. Mustapha was busy in the background making sure that we stayed in the most beautiful accommodations and he subbed in for a few days at the end of our tour. I would recommend Roaming Camels and Morocco without hesitation.

A rough start turned into a great tour We had a fantastic tour organised by Roaming Camels. Our guide Aziz and our driver Ali were both excellent. Booking the tour was really good as they really worked with us to create a personalised itinerary. They then booked excellent hotels and made sure we were well looked after, including our three kids. When we arrived in Marrakesh our abgs did not, but Aziz and Ali really took care of us. They made sure we had supplies for the day. They took us back to the airport and helped us collect our luggage. During the tour both Aziz and Ali were very knowledgeable and really good about including the kids. Our tour included a fair amount of driving as we went all the way to Merzouga and the Western Sahara. The drives were quite comfrotable with a fair number of stops to see things along the way, eat, get drinks and other stops. All of our booked accomodation was fantastic s after a full day of seeing the wonderful sights of the High Atlas Mountains, Dades Valley and among others. I would highly recommend Roaming Camels tours, as well as both Aziz and Ali for your Moroccan trip.

Incredible adventure balanced with restful overnights stays… Our booking and communication through email with Kathi was seamless and our guide, Bachir, was so much fun! As travelers using a guide service we put so much faith in the execution and Roaming Camels never let us down, in fact, above and beyond expectations. Two Weeks in Morocco - Casablanca, Marrakech, Fes , Chefchaouen Loved working with Kathi and Mustapha and their team during our recent trip to Morocco. Roaming Camels provided drivers for us to travel from Marrakech to Fes , then onto Chefchaouen and finally back to Casablanca. All the drivers were prompt and very helpful. They answered many of our questions along the way. Kathi and Mustapha provided us advice and suggestions for each of our destinations plus reacted to some of our last minute trip changes. Would definitely recommend Roaming Camels !

Exciting, comfortable, honest, relaxing Superb. The most wonderful friend for our family, Bachir, took us from Fez to Morocco, and just knew how to read us so well, keep us safe, and maintain dignity throughout, even with the challenge of keeping a 4 year old happy for 10 hour journeys. He is so kind and so honest. There is none of that annoying selling or inside dealing you hear about with other guides and tours. We stayed in the most beautiful dwelling I've ever seen in my entire life...I don't even think I can classify it as a hotel, it was beyond dreams...in the Dades Valley. Communication was constant but on our terms, not intrusive at all. We miss Bachir very much and look forward to seeing him again when we come to Morocco and recommending him and roaming camels to all of our friends

Amazing Family Experience I traveled to Morocco with my two sons (6 and 8) and sister. I was a little hesitant to use a private guide, as I generally do all the planning myself for our trips and use local transit to get around. But I am so glad I went with Roaming Camels for our first trip to Morocco. We had an incredible experience in just four short days, and they were able to help shape our itinerary to ensure we got the variety we were looking for (we stayed in Marrakech, the Agafay Desert and Essaouira) without feeling like we were constantly traveling. It was wonderful to have a driver, especially in Marrakech, and Bachir was so accommodating- he even made a pit stop on the side of the road to take my son to a random store for an emergency bathroom break :) All of our accommodations were stunning, and Mustapha (the on-site coordinator) checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, including local guides to give us insights into the area that we otherwise never would have known. Whenever we were looking to do something not normally requested by guests (like going to a McDonald’s for lunch), Bachir and Mustapha acted like it was normal and worked it into our trip. We also really appreciated that after getting to know my family a little, both Bachir and Mustapha would make suggestions based on what we likes to do. Overall our trip to Morocco was really one of the best trips we’ve ever taken and a large part of that was due to Roaming Camels taking away all the stress and uncertainties that came with traveling to a new place. We would definitely use them again.

They were absolutely the best at everything from helping us to plan, choosing gorgeous accommodations in our price range, giving us a super safe and helpful driver (Ali) who was with us for 11 days, providing local guides in several cities, and adding lots of very interesting cultural/historical stops along the way. I can't say enough about their wonderful service at every step of our trip! Our driver, Ali, was a master at getting through some of the big city traffic as well as being patient with all of our questions about Moroccan society and customs along the way. The local guides were excellent and Kathi and Mustapha kept in touch from beginning to end. THANK YOU for the wonderful trip of a lifetime!!

Wonderful 10 day tour of Morocco with Cooking Class We are so glad we chose Roaming Camels for our trip to Morocco on the recommendation of a friend. Kathi and Mustapha are friendly and easy to work with. They designed the perfect itinerary that included everything we asked for and kept in close touch with us throughout the entire trip. Bashir, our outstanding driver for 10 days, safely delivered us to each location at the expected times where our new hosts and guides were expecting us. We couldn’t have asked for a friendlier and more helpful companion and we could not have done it ourselves. We appreciate his dedication to logistics, safe driving, a tidy and well maintained vehicle, interesting and helpful information, and much needed bottles of water. If you go to Morocco, definitely ask for Bashir! Our local hosts presented us with unparalleled hospitality. From customary tea receptions and rooms always ready, to assistance with our bags and the most delicious thoughtfully presented meals: all freshly cooked, freshly picked, freshly squeezed. We were so pleased. Our local guides were equally impressive with their knowledge of history, interesting stories, engaging walking tours, and excellent communication. Our cooking class was a highlight of our trip that we will never forget. We highly recommend Roaming Camels.
