These guys have always been supremely helpful and gone above and beyond.

Never received my order. They haven't had the courtesy to respond to email, voice mail or the contact form on their website, so I had to recover my money via paypal. Don't bother with this bunch of cowboys, there are far better and more reputable RC shops out there, e.g. Modelsport, Wheelspin etc.

Please avoid!!!!!! No communication, if you have any issues with a product you WILL NOT RECIEVE HELP!

My sons boat was not working after 1 use. At 200 quid a pop and the fact my son only used his birthday present once I'd have hoped that they would have been able to help. I received one WhatsApp message after sending various emails, phone calls and texts. Very happy to take your money but terrible service at helping out. Now my son has no boat. This company has zero communication skills, if you have an issue good luck you'll need it!!!! Will never purchase from this company again. Order from amazon at least if something does go wrong they will deal with your query and resolve the issue instantly instead of ignoring your every contact.

reason for giving a 1 star is because 1 staff is rude especially there repair bloke Richard 2 when you go in there they seem to be just standing around 3 they won’t take responsibility for a problem they made 4 they broke my car and have tried to phone them and email and won’t reply So basically they just take money and don’t sort there customers problems out I would avoid this rc shop at all cost terrible service they don’t have a clue what they are talking about and try to push you to buy rc cars as most people have said on here Rochester is happy to take your money but not happy to take responsibility You won’t be taking my money again !!!! Be lucky it’s a 1 star if it was me I would give you 0 if I was you Rochester I’d close your shop down no one seems to like your store hardly any stock bunch of empty boxes

I’ve only ordered on line and spoke to the staff on the phone, their online store,Rochester Rc is 2nd to None! Really easy to use and order from. If for any reason you can’t find what you are after, just phone them if they don’t have it, there are great staff, polite and friendly and seem to be able to find what you do need. If I ever get chance and I’m in the area I will definitely go to their shop! 100% more than happy to recommend them to anyone in the hobby or thinking of getting into it!

Staff acted very unprofessional and didn't help at all. They didn't seem to know much on petrol models especially on planes

I have increased the star rating up due to the fact that they did reach out to me and explained the situation and asked that I be patient whilst they rectify some internal system issues. At least this is a positive step in the right direction and hopefully they will continue to keep their customers informed. It is with a heavy heart that I write this review. I have been purchasing from Rochester RC online for 2 years now and their service used to be impeccable, however over the last few months their communication has been poor or non-existent. Every single item I purchase is showing as in stock on their website, but when I chase up my order, I discover that they don’t have the parts in stock and that they are on order from their supplier. They have even volunteered this information themselves this time by adding a note to my order. They even stated, “Sorry for the delay we have had some issues lately, but we are working tirelessly to get the situation rectified”, but this has been going on for at least 3 months now. I have also emailed and contacted them via WhatsApp and have not received any responses. Unfortunately, I took them up on an offer last year, which means I have a voucher to spend every month, if it wasn’t for the voucher I would no longer be buying from them. Come on guys, reputation is everything.

I've given 1 star just because a lack of communication. I ordered something and nearly a week later still no sign of my order. So I messaged them and got the excuse of it wasn't on the courier and that they was going to chase it up the next day. Now I understand orders can be late etc but a quick email or phone call just to keep me updated would've gone a long way. In the end they done me a favour because I managed to get the same part cheaper elsewhere. I would avoid this place as there is better model shops out there that give you better customer service.

I have been buying Traxxas RC since January this year I have 5 now ....they are friendly helpful and have a wealth of knowledge.....not many shops around like this .....Carl

I love this place & recommend it highly! Been here 3 times, brought my arrma big rock 3s from these guys and they were super helpful and knowledgable. Just purchased a proboat jet boat from them too and again mega helpful, always go the extra mile, through little bits in for you, sometimes even a bit of a discount. The customer service has been next to none in my experience. Genuine people, enthusiasts not sales men, don’t pressure or force you to buy, you can go in for a chat and advice and they are happy to help! Ordered parts online for collection for my FTX nitro and they called promptly when ready. I will not use anyone else for RC parts or my big purchases ever again, love their shop and the people. Thank you for numerous great experiences and look forward to lot more purchases ahead!👌🏽

Always competitively priced, quick deliveries, excellent customer service every time ! The latest example of this for me was when I ordered a car late on Monday, it stated 1 to 3 days delivery as supplier stock. Amanda called me Wednesday to say the car had been discontinued and the alternative was out of stock, but I could have a different colour.. I agreed, then she called again the next day as the courier failed to pick up the car for delivery.... Rochester RC proceeded to drive a 4 hour round trip to personally deliver the car to me the next morning !!! How incredible here people are !!!

Great RC shop with helpful and friendly staff

Terrible company to deal with! worst rc purchasing experience we’ve had both me and my son! Have to chase for our orders to be then told to email for order updates and refunds! This has happened every time we have ordered from them but gave them chances after chances! Want trouble free purchasing go elsewhere! STAY CLEAR!

Extremely poor experience ive ordered from there website only to find out they are out of stock and shouldn't have been purchasable yet they did not notify me or anything it toke for me to inquire what was happening to find out which gives me the feeling they had no intention of notifing me which should have been done the moment they realised along with a 2-3day processing days before shipping any orders is very poor and i won't be returning im afraid

I popped in to buy a crawler, the staff went out of their way to get me the axial Capra I wanted. You can tell they know their stuff, I will definitely go visit again .. thanks Rochester RC

If I could, I'd give them zero. 3 weeks after the order was placed (item appeared in stock), they kept fobbing me off, promising delivery was imminent. I've now asked for refund and still waiting. Should have used Ebay instead, I wouldn't be in this position now. Lesson learnt.
