☺ Such a wonderful property and we had a great 10 night stay. The property is clean and well kept with everything we needed to be comfortable and spend time in plantanias. The pool was clean and a good size which we enjoyed a lot as the weather was hot with sun and shade in the garden. We couldn’t believe how quiet our stay was considering we were in the town and next to a couple of hotels. The beach is a three minute walk. And access to tourist sights and experiences easily accessible. The supermarket is only five minutes away and we found the wonderful butchers (meating group) for tasty food, meats and cheeses only nine minutes away. We used the property barbecue which was amazing. Air conditioning is provided and the house interior decor is lovely and one can see that Yioula and Agis have put thought and care into ensuring that guests are comfortable. 10/10 for the comfortable beds as a really good nights sleep is much needed after the sun sea and the tasty Greek cuisine.
☹ Agis was welcoming and friendly and Sophie our cleaner so kind and helpful. There is nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Perfect stay
☺ The location was excellent. Hosts were very responsive but at the same time left us to our own devices although on hand to help with anything you needed. The villa is very comfortable and had everything you need.
We would definitely recommend staying here and will choose this accommodation again if we return to the area.

Once again a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. Agis and Yioula are the perfect hosts. The villa is clean thanks to the wonderful Sofia. Close to all the shops and restaurants but such a peaceful villa you wouldn’t think you were in the town. Thank you so much. See you again next year!

The house has everything we needed. The location is very good. Very nice and helpful owners. It was a wonderful week spent in Crete. We will definitely come back there.

Absolutely brilliant week in The Rock House Villa.
☺ Everything was superb for us, location, privacy, facilities, pool were all fantastic, as were the hosts. The Villa is 2 minutes walk from the beach and there are bars and supermarkets within 1 minute walk. Would highly recommend this property. Sun passes directly over top of villa (July) so it was full on the pool area from around 10am till 6pm. After that there was a lovely rooftop veranda to sit on till later in the evenings 😊
☹ If there’s one minor gripe it would be the noisy grasshoppers in the trees, but it never really bothered us tooo much. That’s nature for you. The locals birds quietened them down when they came to feed on them..

Wenn das laute Hotel hinter dem Haus nicht wäre,top. Schon sehr laute nervige Musik am Morgen und am Nachmittag,aber man kann ja zum schönem Strand flüchten!
Und mehr als ein Haustürschlüssel wäre auch gut gewesen,wenn man mit mehreren Leuten im Haus wohnt. ( Sommer 2022)
Ansonsten ein sehr schönes Haus mit.Pool, natürlich mitten im Touristengebiet....

Thank you very much for your rewiew. It was a pleasure hosting you. You are absolutely right about the noise from the hotel next door that had loud music only for one hour everyday from 12pm to 1pm. But we took legal measures against them and they have stopped. As for the one key we gave you, it would not be a problem if you asked us for a second key. We would give it to you as we did with other guests who simply asked for a second key.
We hope to have the pleasure of accommodating you again in the future.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage und können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen
☺Wir haben den Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Anwesen sehr genossen. Besser geht nicht! Jeden 2. Tag wurde das ganze Haus gereinigt. Wir brauchten uns um nichts zu kümmern. Morgens vor dem Frühstück noch ein Sprung in den Pool, herrlich. Alles in allem Urlaub pur. Vielen Dank noch für das nette Gespräch mit dem Hausherrn.
☹Im oberen Stockwerk gibt es keine Toilette

Thank you very much for your rewiew. I am happy you enjoyed the house but cannot understand why you were strict with your rating for cleanless although you admit the house was very clean. Also there is no possibility for a toilet in a 13 m2 mezzanine. But we do have a second full bathroom. In the lower level of the villa.

☺La maison est conforme en tout point aux photos et à la description.
Nous avons apprécié la climatisation et la piscine en période de fortes chaleurs.
Nos hôtes qui étaient à proximité ont été très accueillants et disponibles.
Bien que très proches des grands hôtels nous n'avons pas été trop gênés par le bruit de ces derniers.

Wonderful holiday
An amazing villa in the heart of a lively resort. Fabulous pool, effective aircon, lovely patio with spaces to eat and relax. Great inside space. Very friendly but discrete maid service every other day. Plantanias beach has plenty of fabulous places to eat and watch the waves as well as watersports and beautiful sunsets. The main strip is a hive of shops, bars and restaurants. The people are so incredibly friendly. The Little Land train excursions mean you don't need a hire car to explore the beautiful surroundings and countryside; it will also take tou to the waterpark! We travelled with a 16 and a 19 year old and had the most wonderful holiday, so great to have a little oasis of calm right in the heart of the resort and next to the beach; it kept everyone happy. Communication with Yioula was excellent, right from our first enquiry. She was so friendly and welcoming. We've been home now for 2 days and are missing it already. I cat wait to return one day.

Wonderful holiday
A beautiful villa in the middle of a lively holiday resort. Wonderful pool, great air con, friendly but discrete regular maid service. Great communication both before and during our stay. 3 minutes from the beach with watersports and beach cafes/restaurants, would recommend Blue and White. Main strip full of bars, restaurants and shops. Friendly people, delicious food particularly at Mia Mora in the square and Kyano at the far end of the strip. The Little Fun Train is perfect for excursions around the area as well as a trip to the waterpark. No car is necessary. WiFi sketchy so don't rely on it. We had a wonderful 2 week stay with a 16 and 19 year old. Plenty for us all to enjoy. We so hope to be back one day.

Lovely villa, perfect location
The villa was well equipped to a high standard. Private and peaceful with lovely pool. So near to the beach, restaurants and bars.
The owners warmly welcomed our party of 4. We were given guidance on places to visit and good recommendations for restaurants.
We were treated as friends and left as friends.

A fantastic place!
This is the best place to spend your vacation in Crete. A very nice villa with lovely garden with private pool. Close to the beach and all shops and restaurants. Plenty of space in the villa and clean and nice. The patio is wonderful to be on. The host couple are fantastic.

Πρόσφατα επισκεφθήκαμε το Rock House Villas για μια διαμονή και δεν θα μπορούσαμε να είμαστε πιο ευχαριστημένοι με την εμπειρία μας. Αυτό το μέρος πραγματικά αποτελεί έναν παράδεισο για τους λάτρεις της φύσης και της ηρεμίας.
Αμέσως μόλις προσεγγίσαμε το Rock House Villas, εντυπωσιαστήκαμε από την ομορφιά του συγκροτήματος. Οι βίλες ενσωματώνονται αρμονικά στο φυσικό τοπίο, με θέα στον καταπράσινο κήπο και τη πισίνα . Ο σχεδιασμός των σπιτιών είναι εξαιρετικός, με κομψά έπιπλα, δημιουργώντας μια ατμόσφαιρα ζεστασιάς και πολυτέλειας.
Η διαμονή μας στο Rock House Villa ήταν απλά εκπληκτική. Το σπίτι ήταν πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν για μια άνετη και ευχάριστη διαμονή. Οι χώροι ήταν ευρύχωροι και καλά διαμορφωμένοι, παρέχοντας μας αρκετό χώρο για να χαλαρώσουμε και να απολαύσουμε τις διακοπές μας. Η θέα στη πισίνα από το μπαλκόνι ήταν απλά μαγευτική και μας προσέφερε μοναδικές στιγμές χαλάρωσης και ευεξίας. Από την άφιξή μας μέχρι την αναχώρηση ,οι ιδιοκτήτες μας παρείχαν εξαιρετική εξυπηρέτηση και προσοχή στις λεπτομέρειες. Μας πρόσφεραν πληροφορίες για την τοπική περιοχή και τις δραστηριότητες που μπορούσαμε να απολαύσουμε κοντά στο κατάλυμα.
Η τοποθεσία των Rock House Villas ήταν επίσης ιδανική. Βρίσκεται σε μια ήσυχη περιοχή με εύκολη πρόσβαση σε παραλίες, εστιατόρια και καταστήματα. Είχαμε τη δυνατότητα να εξερευνήσουμε τη γύρω περιοχή και να απολαύσουμε τις γραφικές παραλίες και τοπία που προσέφερε η περιοχή.
Συνολικά, η διαμονή μας στο Rock House Villas ήταν μια εξαιρετική εμπειρία. Απολαύσαμε κάθε στιγμή και αισθανθήκαμε πραγματικά χαλαρωμένοι και αναζωογονημένοι. Η απόλυτη ηρεμία και χαλάρωση που βιώσαμε, σε συνδυασμό με την πολυτέλεια και την άνεση των καταλυμάτων, μας έκανε να αισθανθούμε σαν να βρισκόμαστε σε έναν παράδεισο μακριά από την καθημερινότητα. Σίγουρα θα συστήναμε το Rock House Villas σε όποιον αναζητά μια μοναδική εμπειρία διαμονής σε ένα όμορφο μέρος όπως τα Χανιά.Θα ξαναεπισκεφθούμε αυτό το υπέροχο μέρος και δεν μπορούμε παρά να το συστήσουμε ανεπιφύλακτα σε όλους όσους αναζητούν μια μοναδική και αξέχαστη εμπειρία διαμονής.

Very Relaxing Villa
Well what can i say, it sure does live up to the other reviews, however there are a few things what are not mentioned, the Villa does have a few cats that linger around so if cats are a problem just be aware, to be honest the cats are very well trained and friendly and will not enter the Villa. The pool is freezing! but may heat up a little if the weather is nice ? unfortunately the week we went there was more rain than sun. And i know this is petty, but the tv in the lounge area doesnt pick-up any english channels but the bedroon tv does! ? And if you do depend on wi-fi, it's not the best👎🏼On the plus side the Villa is very clean in & out, the maid comes every other day to clean and change sheets, she is very friendly and always smiling. the owners Yioula & Agis are also very nice and welcome you with open arms, they stay in the Villa next door so are always there if anything goes wrong or you need anything. And as other reviews have already pointed out, this Villa is very quiet & peaceful, but also only a 5 min walk to bars, restaurants and the beach. Our fav restaurant was Astrea, the views are stunning, but do remember to book as this is a very popular place when the sun is setting. Astrea is owned by Jorgen Bar which is situated in the square, go there and book a table and they will supply a free cab up the hill👍🏼 "it's a very steep hill" And last but not least, would i go back, probably not, but thats not because of the Villa, it's because of the hit & miss weather we had. We prefer a sun holiday rather than clouds. I'm sure Crete weather improves as the months go on 🌞

☺ Fantastic little place, ideal for people who like a very quiet & relaxed holiday, but also like the bars and restaurants The Villa is situated 5 mins away from the beach, bars & restaurants, you can't really go wrong.
☹ Freezing Pool, but that will probably change if the weather gets hotter, we stayed at the end of May and the weather was not good👎🏼
There also seems to be a lot of ants around on the patio ? Even though we swept it clean every morning they seem to come back! But it's not that bad to bother us.
The other thing to note, the Villa has a few very friendly cats that hang around, so if you got a problem with cats i would say think twice, but they don't get in the way of things and don't go into the villa, they have been trained well.

Dear Matthew we are very sorry about the weather but for this we cannot argue with nature. Also for the ants, yes a garden often has insects as -again- blaim it on nature. But you saw none inside the house. As for the cold swimming pool, well again we say that nature has the last word! I am sorry that you did not appreciate our services as much as all our previous guests have. Thank you anyway for choosing our villa for your vacation.
