Rock Dojo lessons online have been a great experience for my son. He's been able to progress from a beginner to intermediate, learning the basics while also learning fun songs that he recognizes and get him excited about playing. The online lessons are great for being able to move faster than a class might allow, and to zone in on particular skills or interests. Thanks Brian!

Rock Dojo is fantastic! Brian and Sophie are great guitar teachers who make lessons fun and engaging. After just two classes, my son is eager to show off what he's learned. I performed with Brian from Rock Dojo at the Happy Valley Library and then he taught a few kids guitar at the park! We need more organizations who can provide music exposure and lessons for free ti the younger generations! Thank You Rock Dojo!

Rock Dojo is an awesome program! They came out and led a guitar workshop for our summer camp program at a local community center and all of the kids loved it! Major props to Brian and Sophie!

Rock Dojo is the best! Our child is actually learning guitar and in only a few lessons was able to start strumming a tune. I am so impressed by this program and will keep my son in it for as long as we can. What a well-structured, fun program for kids - rare these days!

My son is very active, and sometimes sitting still is hard - especially after school. But he loves Rock Dojo, and the teachers help meet his need to move and help him focus. He's always so excited to show me what he's learned!

Our son has done an after school program and the online course with Rock Dojo and loves it. He is dyslexic and the way that Brian has designed reading music really works for him. We can't get enough of this program.

Both of my daughters love Rock Dojo. Brian is thoughtful and his approach is very organized including online lessons and a curriculum that progress like the belts in martial arts. We especially appreciated his thoughtfulness and effort when schools were closed to keep lessons going online.

My four-year-old and I attended a library concert from Rock dojo, and I was smitten the entire time, rocking out! She actually sat and paid attention to the guitar lesson right after the concert, which she's never done before. These guys were truly inspiring and I'm so grateful for them and the library for providing this free concert for kids.

Rock Dojo simply ROCKS! In addition to teaching, their live events are incredible. The picture of nearly 100 kids dancing on the playground to Rock Dojo's awesome set was something I won't soon forget. Can we book you again already for next year?! The kids are already asking!

My daughter took to playing the guitar so quickly because the Rock Dojo teachers are so encouraging and energetic! The songs they learned were fun and easy to play - my daughter and I would highly recommend this class!

My son has been with Rock Dojo for almost a year now, and it is amazing how much he knows and is still learning. Brian is a great teacher, who is super encouraging and very passionate about passing music to the next generation.

I have known Mr. Parham since I was a child.. I would say we were best friends at one point in grade school. But I never told him something about me.. I played guitar. I started in 2nd grade. Taught myself how to play an old acoustic guitar--left handed.. in 5th grade I wanted an electric guitar. Without realizing I could just string it upside down (I was 11 what did I know) my father said "no way" to a custom guitar for a boy of 11.. so he smirked like he got away with something until I said "I will relearn righty" ... the point is Brian and I shared the same passion but never discussed it (he would talk about how his brother was quite the artist, and how my brother got all the girls haha) I believe at the HEART of this program is the idea that children should not be shy about picking up a guitar because they wont know it instantly.( And im betting that's why Brian and I hid our mutual interest from each other) Instead be CONFIDENT. Grab a guitar. And get down to the Rock Dojo.

Rock Dojo , Brian Parham is one of the best teachers I had ever encountered. Super knowledgeable and talented and a wonderful example for kids . His teaching method is probably the easiest for kids to learn .

Really enjoyed working with Brian, he has an infectious energy about him that encourages learning in his students.

My kids have never learned any type of musical instrument and they are LOVING Rock Dojo. They came home after their second lesson playing "Brain Stew" by Green Day which my husband and I loved. It was amazing! The lessons move quickly (which is impressive given that kids are challenging to wrangle without a musical instrument in their hands) which keeps them engaged, and I find them hanging out in their rooms strumming and practicing on their own without me pushing. We're big fans, and are moving into our third (8 week) session of once-a week after school lessons with Brian/Rock Dojo. Rock Dojo has some inexpensive rental guitars available and are happy to work with you on that, but we found that the kids really wanted to practice/play on their own between sessions, so we made the investment in their own guitars (you can find pretty inexpensively second hand, and Brian was happy to provide resources/advice on that, too.)

My daughter has loved these classes! The teachers a great with kids, very encouraging and make it fun to learn!
