Really cool store - Paul was very kind and helpful. I went to buy a gift for my brother, but unfortunately know nothing about guitars. Paul was knowledgeable, able to offer suggestions based on the limited information I knew about my brother’s guitar stuff, and ultimately helped me find great gifts! I’m from out of town, but I’d definitely recommend this store to musicians in the area or tourists like myself!

I can’t recommend Rock Island Sound enough! This place has been a treasure for our family. My son started guitar lessons, and my daughter began her piano journey here as well. Both are passionate about music and 7 years later still learning and rocking out.
I also decided to pick up the guitar again after years away from it. The lessons have been inspiring, and it feels great to reconnect with my passion for music. There is something for everyone in the family here.
Paul, the owner, has been incredibly accommodating with my crazy schedule. If you’re looking for a place to dive into music, this is definitely it!
