We spent this past weekend here with family and it was breathtakingly beautiful! So spacious, so practical for hosting and just perfect for families who love to have fun together but keen to do their own thing every now and then. It was just perfect, and it's so peaceful out there. The body products and bedrooms were also quite lush! Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend it.

Slipway is perfectly positioned….it captures the essence of the paradise that Churchhaven is. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Just amazing. Perfect for larger groups and families. You are on the lagoon. The spot does not get any better. Incredible braai areas (multiple), outdoor fire pit and perfect kitchen. Debbie was accommodating and communicative. Cannot recommend highly enough

We recently stayed at Peacehaven with another family. If you are looking for a relaxed but very comfortable and spacious accomodation directly on the Breede river then this is it. There are all the modern conveniences you would expect (and more, like multiple fridges for all the G&T`s or chilled wines) as well as entertainment facilities for all. If you are not enjoying the river with the canoes and paddle boards, you can play table tennis or foosball or take out excess energy on the trampouline. The booking process and check in was incredibly smooth and there is daily service on the basics around the house. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Peacehaven to all, we are already thinking of a return visit!

Staying at the Hout Bay villa was incredibly easy and stress-free. We felt completely at home, whether we were enjoying movies with the kids in the cozy theatre or unwinding with a glass of wine in the sunniest spot of the braai room, watching the sunset. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. One of my favorite features was the sound system, which allowed us to control music in different rooms right from an app on our phones.

Slipway cottage is one of those houses that creeps under your skin - the fact that you can walk straight out from it for a dip in the lagoon, a SUP or a walk for km's inside the West Coast national park makes it somewhere really special. The lounge invites chilling by the fire or board games or 90's sing alongs (speaking from personal experience) and the sun set on the patio where we managed a full braai even though we were a girls only group was the best! Small details make this little spot magic - the Room products in the bathrooms, the outdoor showers, the interleading rooms which made for so many late night giggles and the fact that the kitchen is properly stocked with everything you need to cook big group meals. We caught a beautiful weekend at the end of flower season and I will always remember celebrating my birthday in this special home.

The house is great but the shower in the outside room was flooding and the showers inside the house had no hot water. It is however a great venue with direct access to the river. It's great for older kids.

A hidden gem! We had a magical weekend getaway with extended family at Peacehaven on the Breede River. The location is spectacular and the facilities are excellent: kayaks (including life jackets), a trampoline for the kids, table tennis, darts, and a braai facilities on the covered verandah. The massive lawns on either side are perfect for family games. The house is fully equipped and the perfect layout for a group. Check-in / check-out was seamless. We will be back for sure. I was not able to secure a booking at Church haven though, but I was able to view the property. Wow, the amazing view and amenities available was outstanding. I will definitely book way in advance for my next visit there

We've stayed a few times at Peacehaven and had the most unforgettable times there! The house is well equipped with everything one needs for a family holiday. From watersports, kids toys, sundowners on the water and 2 braai areas to enjoy. Molisho is always on hand to make the stay a better experience! We will most certainly be visiting again in the near future...

Absolutely beautiful place. Right on the water. You feel like you are the only house in the little village.
