Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup Reviews

We had a basement flood due to sump pump failing. Started troubleshooting and using the wet vac. Called 3 plumbers at 4am hoping we could get emergency service. Apparently no one seems to do that anymore but Roto-Rooter did offer us the first appt at 8am. We met Bill, who was great. Quickly dropped in a new pump and water started moving out. He checked our system and explained primary pump failed and the back up just couldn't keep up with all the rain/water. He was so kind, reassuring this was beyond our control. He contacted their remediation team to help evaluate next steps and they came right out to evaluate.

Miguel Campos was amazing. He took the time to answer every question we had. He was very reassuring and provided us with the next steps. We had no idea what to do and were dreading what came next, but he was able to put us at ease.

Tech changed our ejector pump($2,238) in our basement but unhooked and took our water alarm system. He did not tell us that the new pump didn’t come with an alarm or why our existing one couldn’t be used. After repeated calls(I called for 5 days trying to get someone to tell me what had happened to our alarm and finally had to threaten to dispute the charges) , the company agreed to send a tech out to put on a new alarm, claiming we would only have to pay for the part. The tech quotes me a price of $240 then comes back the following day to install it and charges $372, all the while trying to guilt trip me that he wasn’t making any money on his labor. NEVER AGAIN. I will literally call ANYONE else.

I had a sewage overflow that flooded from the toilet. Roto Rooter came out first thing @ 8 am on a Sunday to get it fixed. I explained to the field supervisor, Miguel Campos that I contained the overflow in the bathroom. Mr. campos kindly explained to me how the damage may be more severe than what we can visibly see. Miguel was correct, what I thought was only affecting 1 room, affected 8-9 rooms. We agreed immediately to get the restoration process started. The next day the project manager,Stanley Scott and field technician Kennedy Hughley arrived. They both got straight to work and moved everything out of the way that they needed to. Everything was neat and not just thrown where ever. Stanley and Kenedy set up plastic zip walls and made sure that I was still able to use and operate in my home with minimal interference. Miguel, Stanley and Kenedy did a fantastic job from the moment they arrived.
