Great gym

A lot of simple, good and pleasant ideas all in one place. Friendly customer service, quiet atmosphere, and free coffee! Someone's really thought through everything.

Despite using the place on and off from before RP (as Core then Delta MSK) and living within crawling distance I have just joined something else for my often night time visits. Classes stopped some time ago weren't bad at all but leaping to £45/mo for what sounds like an utter nightmare of a membership company (who never gave me proper VAT receipts I asked for) is asking too much. At least they haven't turfed paying members out for photo shoots or the arm wrestling lot recently.

Honest review: I think it is a really good friendly gym with friendly community and staff members. I think it is on the costly side however we are in Cambridge and the fact that it is very close to the science park and that it is 24 hrs is great. Pros: Amazing high quality Watson brand equipment Lots of powerlifting equipment 4 power racks Ability to perform Olympic lifts Showers are always clean Rare belt squat equipment Never gets too busy Cons: Only 2 double cable Only 1 smith machine No rear Delt fly machine No standing calf raise machine

I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years and it’s by far the friendliest gym I’ve ever been in. Shout out to Donna who made getting by into weight training a joy too!

Sick gym - not too busy and great equipment!!

As a woman in my late fifties, I was very nervous about going to the gym for the first time in 20 years … but I have been overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff and the members of the gym I feel really comfortable coming here. Also I’d like a special shout out for my trainer Donna who’s really helped me on my journey.

Great space to workout, quality equipment and friendly staff!

First of all, kind staff and a lot of good equipment - 4 squat racks 3 bench presses loads of machines etc. However, it is a very mediocre gym considering the price. Although it has a lot of good equipment, as mentioned, it only has one smith machine, small number of cables, one lat pull down machine. There is way too many members for the equipment on offer meaning that if you go in peak hours it can be very difficult to workout The changing room facilities are dirty and not cleaned well with the showers always being too hot and disgusting on the floor. They have done a recent “changing room makeover” which was just painting the doors and extending the bench. Have attached a photo of the men’s toilets below, just not good enough for £45 a month. There is still not enough lockers in peak times and the cleanliness of the changing rooms is still terrible. Also, the changing room advertised on the website is nothing like the men’s. Within the gym there is one water machine that is downstairs out the way from everything, not awful but considering cardio machines are all upstairs - not ideal. Also poor ventilation, the building has no windows and is freezing in winter and boiling in summer with their air con doing next to nothing. Considering they have now increased the price to £45 a month which I would consider a premium price but still offer subpar facilities at best it isn’t worth your custom. Also worth noting that they do not have wifi.
