We finally got round to replacing our single-glazed 100-year old metal bay windows and found Ryedale Joinery to be exceptional. They met the promised timescales and the attitude, dedication, skill and flexibility of the team was fantastic. What a difference! We would not hesitate in recommending them.

After getting some eye watering quotes from other firms we decided to have our 10 single glazed sash windows replaced by Ryedale Joinery. A great local company with fabulous communication through Debbie, accurate assessment and measuring from Andrew and then the lads who fitted the windows James / Ollie and Shayne. The team of 3 worked at our house for 4 days and were punctual, friendly, professional and hard working. They made sure they kept our house as tidy and clean as they could and cleaned up every day before they left. Being an Edwardian terrace we have lots of wonky frames but they made the replacemant sashes fit brilliantly, working onsite to fine tune the fit then they weather proofed/ primed the new wood sashes and any sills they had had to repair. Already it has made such a difference to the noise and draughts we used to have to put up with. I would heartily recommend Ryedale Joinery for a quality service that's helped sympathetically future proof our period home and hopefully will bring the heating bills down too...thank you!

We are very pleased with the work to upgrade our sash windows. The team arrived on time, were polite and respectful of our property, taking care to cover surfaces and minimise dust. They worked very hard, especially in the hot weather and we are very happy with the result. We would definitely use them again and would highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning windows and great team. Very professional when installing brand new timber sash windows to replace messy UPVC windows. Not an easy task for sure but everyone did a great job. We’ve had Ryedale Joinery come to our house on several occasions. Our house is a listed building so we have to have wooden window frames and doors. Ryedale Joinery have done a beautiful job on every occasion, fitting Accoya, which will mean their work will continue to be sound for many years. Initially they put in Accoya double glazed sash windows and Yorkshire sash windows. The next job they did was to replace the conservatory windows. And most recently they have put in an arched window, a long run of windows down a corridor and even made us a new letterbox. The men all work tidily and leave the house spotless every day, even if they’re going to be back the following day. They are friendly and polite and are a pleasure to have around. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this excellent company.

We had ten windows replaced by Ryedale. From the quote through to the fitting they were excellent. They communicated really clearly and we were never in any doubt they knew what they were doing. When doing the installation they were tidy and cleaned up thoroughly. The windows they installed have made a big difference to the heating in our house and made it much quieter too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Our originally Victorian house has been altered extensively over its life, and when we moved into it about 18months' ago we wanted to live in it for a year or so before starting a priority list. Joinery work soon went to the top of that list Debbie, Andrew, James and their team have now changed all our windows. The project required them to be very patient whilst we negotiated with the National Park Planning Authority, and yet we got there in the end! The standard of workmanship at Rydale Joinery is extremely high. I love the fact they run a proper apprenticeship scheme ensuring that standard will be preserved over time. The teams are fast, efficient and very clean and tidy. There are a couple more areas of work that we need to complete at the house, but we'll recover for a few months, enjoy what we have and then pester them again....

Everything about Rydale Joinery is faultless, you could spend hours scrolling through the internet but you won’t find a better company. From start to finish the process was seamless, informative, superbly organised and completely customer focused. The team worked efficiently under the guidance of James and were all personable and respectful and did an outstanding job. There is great attention to detail here as well both in the planning process with Andrew and the informative and prompt communication at all times. We are absolutely delighted with the new windows which have transformed the house and have received many compliments. First class in all respects.

This is the second time that we have used Ryedale Joinery to replace our 120-year-old windows - we had been so impressed by their work on the initial rotten windows that we went ahead with replacing the others. We are once again really pleased with their work. The windows and surrounds fit perfectly thanks to Andrew’s careful measurements and planning. The team were a pleasure to have in the house and they worked hard through the day, and were brilliant at tidying up and cleaning. We were left with very little to do in the way of patching up or redecorating.

Andrew, Debbie and the fabulous team of craftsmen were just outstanding. Service, workmanship, courtesy, flexibility. Absolutely top drawer. We have an old house which needed new wooden windows with traditional mechanics. Andrew came for a site visit and his detailed understanding of what was needed meant that the process and work carried out was completely efficient. The price charged was more than reasonable. The quote we received was lower than expected and the quality of work better than expected! Great job to the Ryedale Joinery team! Outstanding!

Ryedale Joinery have been fantastic at every stage of fitting, replacing and repairing two of our windows. Prompt, informative, competitively-priced, courteous. They took real pains inside the house and cleaned and hoovered after themselves. And they've fitted us two fantastic windows. We couldn't be more pleased.

Really impressed from start to finish. Good advice given at the outset, excellent service and support throughout, really impressed with the windows and the team who fitted them were great.

I saw Ryedale Joinery team working at a neighbour and asked if they could come and measure for windows and a door. They came at the end of the neighbours job and measured, provided a quote, followed up and then gave us a firm date for fitting which they kept to. The windows and door look pretty much the same from the 150 year old ones they replaced. Very professional service, no mess. Very pleased with the whole experience.

This was a tricky assignment with Listed Building requirements, but the whole team did a grand job, from preparation of documents to negotiate with NY Parks to the actual craftsmanship and fitting. It was a pleasure to do business with you.

We are very happy with the four replacement box sash windows Ryedale Joinery made and installed in July. They exactly match the slightly unusual design of the old ones. From start to finish the process has been seamless and efficient. The team who did the installation were friendly, very well organised, tidy, put protection on the floors and hoovered up afterwards.

After having Ryedale Joinery to replace 18 windows, two doors and two large patio doors, I can say they have done an amazing job. The work was carried out on time, with very little disturbance and the team cleaned up so well. I cannot recommend this company more highly… they are brilliant!
