I️ had my car tested for smog, it passed all the tests, technician Karim said tape on the air intake and failed the car due to that, next day went back with no tape on the intake, another tech says have to retest and charged me for a retest, never again at this shop that I️ have been going to for last 10 years, I️ guess cause of all the EVs they are hurting and squeezing customers for every penny, go further east for cheaper and better service is the lesson.

Daughter had her car towed by AAA to a recommended auto shop. Problem was quickly diagnosed (failed fuel pump). Car fixed next day.

My incentive going to Santa Monica Motors for my smog check is the staff is friendly, slways service with a smile and the service is swift, The station bays are neat and clean and the price is agreeable. They also offered direct payment to the DMV for registration as an added service for a fee., I pay directly at AAA. We’ve smog our cars here for years and will continue to do so and you should too If you’re a Santa Monica resident then leave your five star review.

I've been a loyal Sa Mo Motors customer for years. They were always great, and it seems they're getting even better. Last time I was there, I came as a "Walk in" with no appointment, but they took my car anyways and no four hours later they called that it's ready. Yeah, so, absolutely amazing, top marks all around.
