Constructive criticism here as I absolutely love Just What I Kneaded and am aware that Justine’s is relatively new. BUT my 3 visits there have all been poor experiences. The first was a 20+ minute wait during a non crowded weekday evening to receive excessively salted fries and a $16 Caesar Salad that didn’t even come with croutons, the espresso martini was decent though. The second and third visit included zero acknowledgment when arriving at the bar and about a five minute wait to place a drink order, also on a slow evening. One visit was a cheap effective happy hour beer and the other night was a brutal tasting cocktail that tasted like cough syrup. Hopefully it smooths out there and starts to function similar to Just What I Kneaded. Noticed lots of food left on the tables which hurts to see. Wishing it the best and will delete this review in a week or so. Cheers.

Gotta say I wasn’t overly impressed with the ceviche nor the cocktail.
The bartender was friendly and I felt nice and relaxed enough inside, so maybe I’d be curious to visit again if they manage to up their food game a little bit.

Cozy place. Their burger is delicious. Also had spaghetti and meatballs, loved the meatballs. Service is great. I recommend this place.

Amazing first time! Food was scrumptious and the staff was far more than kind and attentive. Went for happy hour and cannot speak higher of this joint. Will be coming back!

Cute wine oasis in an area I didn't even know about until very recently. Small and quaint. Great vibe for one-on-one conversations. Food is vegetarian. Didn 't know that before going in but it made no matter to me. The food was good, tho the vegan meatballs have used waaaaay less salt.

Great food, service and atmosphere. We came on a Wednesday and the place was filled. The bartenders were awesome. There are inside and outdoor seating areas. Inside is dark, cozy and romantic. Parking is a little tricky. I would definitely consider this a little hidden gem.
Thank you so much for the excellent review Patrick! We appreciate you taking the time to say something so positive . Thank you!

Absolutely amazing spot. We got here for happy hour at 4pm on a Sunday, found street parking pretty easily, and ate an incredible vegan Caesar salad that we can’t fathom how they made taste so authentic. Great playlist of late 70s / early 80s UK post-punk music curated by the barman. Good selection of bites and drinks on the happy hour menu. Well worth a visit.

I’ve been a longtime customer of Just What I Kneaded (Justine’s bakery next door) and finally tried Justine’s Wine Bar. The food was really delicious! Tried the Caesar salad and pesto pizza. Both were delicious. Salad was fresh, not overly dressed, perfect amount of seasoning/salt. The pizza was also very good. The dough is perfection. Excellent flavor, chewy and soft. Pizza was also well cooked and perfectly seasoned, good amount of toppings. Also, shared the pazookie which was good, a little under in the middle. I would have preferred just a slightly longer cook time, but my friend thought it was absolutely perfect as is, so that’s just preference thing. I also had a great glass of orange wine, and thought the wine selection was really good in general. Staff was friendly. I also liked the ambiance and atmosphere. They were busy, which was great to see. Looked like everyone was working hard to take care of all customers. Please check them out soon if you’ve been meaning to go. I would love to see them and their bakery next door stay open for years to come. They are fully vegan, but the food is great for non-vegans as well, so you can really bring anyone here. Also, I see why it’s a great date spot, but it’s also a great place to bring friends. There were lots of groups of friends there when I went.
Also, I went around 5p on a Saturday and I didn’t have an issue parking.
Thank you for a thoughtful and thorough review. We appreciate you taking the time to write this. Also thank you for supporting us and giving our space a chance even on a busy night! We hope to see you again soon at the bakery and the wine bar!
