Absolutely pointless warranty company. So not spend more money buying warranty for furniture if its through ServCo , because this company will not cover it anyways. Waste of time and money. We were told that they would cover anything and everything for 5 years after purchase of 2 $3000 couches (from manufacturing defects, to stains and rips). 1 of the reclining couches has started to lean out, so we filed a claim. They're refusing to cover because we didn't file "within 30 days of damage". How tf would we know a damage date if it's a manufacturing issue that you don't see until it's been used? Not to meantion the fact that it took them nearly a month to even give us an answer. Don't waste your money, stay far away from ServCo!

Shame on you ! I sware its like almost every single Insurance worker is going to hell ! They sold me the so called “ Accidental damage “ etc Coverage on my sofas . And when I tried to put in a claim for accidental Damage, of course they had a reason not to cover it! You guys make me sick! And obviously, now it makes sense as they only 1 star rating ! It’s really too bad that you only noticed this after buying the insurance from the retail stores, I almost wanna blame the retail store For selling this garbage product ! Serveco I hope when your family and friends read these reviews, they know what kind of people you are ! I’m a hard-working father of three that you just ripped off on Fruaded !

This is the first time I have ever written a negative review for a product or service. I highly recommend not partnering with this company. I started a claim 30 days ago. The issue is still not resolved. Sounding like it will be another 2-4 weeks before the claim is rectified at a minimum.

I have been dealing with serveco for almost 8 months on a warranty issue for a part for a less than 2 year old electric reclining sofa I bought from Kanes Furniture in Florida. It took 2 different appointments over 6 weeks to even get the part number for the part to be ordered. It was ordered in April and was supposedly back ordered so would not be here until August. It is now October. Supposedly the part was shipped in Spetember and was supposed to be here by Oct 6th. Then it was Oct 18th. It's now the 30th. I have had to call both Serveco and Kanes for updates every time because every time line they give me comes and goes with no part and no communication from them. No one can even tell me where the part is or where it was shipped to. Kanes says it was shipped to me. Serveco says it was shipped to Kanes. Bit say they'll call me back but never do. My couch hasn't worked in 8 months. Don't purchase a warranty from any company that has Serveco as their servicing company. I haven't got enough space to lay out each individual issue from the 1st tech leaving my house after diagnosing the problem and not getting the info so the part could be ordered to all the events that led to this review 8 months later. BUYER BEWARE

Tis company is awful. They need more info and will not reach out to you. I had to call a handful of times to see what was going on that is when they told me what I needed. I called and they told me we will mail you the USB replacement just call us when you receive them. Why couldn't they call me a week ago and let me know. I been waiting almost a month.

Terrible company to work for. They don’t care about employees and only care about money. If you’re a mom they rather your kids be without you and don’t want you to take care of them. Management only cares about themselves. Two faced company.

I am blown away at how awful this company is. I was talked into the 5 year ServeCo warranty by a sales rep at the Lazyboy Oxnard location. The rep spoke very highly of the 5 year ServeCo Protection plan. I normally don’t buy protection plans but he spoke so highly of it, I trusted him and we decided to buy it. Eventually we had a stain. I called approximately 6 months later. My entire experience with ServeCo was AWFUL. The employees are rude and often non responsive. I ended up calling and emailing over 10 times. My first claim was denied by ServCo because it was outside of 30 days. We then had a separate 2nd stain and I called within the 30 day limit. After no reply to my online claim, I called. I spoke to ServeCo employee Ashante. After a long rude interaction, I was told I was lying about the substance of the stain and that it was actually dog poop. I was rudely dismissed. After being cut off multiple times. I convinced her she had the wrong photo. Only after this large effort did she confirm she was looking at the wrong customers info. She told me she would then escalate the issue. The claim was then denied due to it being outside of 30 days despite the stain only being a week old. I clarified that this stain was new and separate from the last claim but she would not listen to the facts. I reached out over 10 times to her and would rarely get any response. When I called, she was always, “busy”. Serve Co is an evil company and I am deeply disappointed in La-Z-Boy for partnering with them. This whole time Serve Co has looked for any possible reason to get out of their responsibilities. I was never treated properly as a customer. After about 5 more calls ServeCo finally agreed to send a cleaner out but under the premise that the claim was still not valid and any future previously covered issues would not be covered. I implore ServeCo to change their behavior

I created a service request on 09/11/2024 which when I received the that I will receive an email in the next 2 business days for the next steps. As of today I have not received an email and their customer service line puts you on hold and no one picks up. Terrible business practice.

I purchased the Serve Co Protection Plan for my sectional couch. I contacted them immediately needing assistance with a stain. I followed their rules and supplied the requested documentation. It became ridiculous when they said it would be 48 hours before a customer care representative would reach out to me. It got worse after they required more pictures and five more days of waiting. Don’t waste your money. They don’t want to provide service.

Do your research before signing a ServeCo warranty!! We followed it to the T and still were denied our claim. We had the pet protection policy and submitted a claim within 24 hours of the damage. The company is claiming the damage is accumulation which it is not, and refuses to service our furniture. Even after ServeCo phone representatives and LZBoy representatives said the damage does fall within the warranty. This is such a scam - do not pay for the warranty, and do not work with companies who partner with ServeCo.

After three attempts to repair my chair, they finally recommended replacing my chair. Even though the process was quite painful and I’ve been without a chair for months now I feel like they did their best to help me.

They dont even deserve 1 star. My motor (I guess) went out on my recliner. I described the issue and the people diagnosed it over the phone and through pictures without sending someone out to actually look to see what's wrong. I've been waiting over 3 months for parts to arrive to fix my recliner. And if and when it does arrive, who knows if that will actually fix the problem!!! Today, the calls are not going through. Not sure what to do about my chair, at this point, I don't think they plan on getting the parts or fixing it. I'm going to the store today where I purchased my furniture and demand my money back. DONT BUY a protection plan from this company.

I purchased a sectional sofa in Calgary, Alberta, along with the Servco North America Protection Plan. In March 2024, a warranty claim for a tear in the sofa was approved, and I promptly submitted the required photos. A technician was dispatched to take additional pictures, but when he returned months later, he brought the wrong part. Since then, I have been contacting Servco every two weeks, often enduring hour-long hold times, yet no resolution has been provided. The communication has been poor, and based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing this warranty.

Provided Serveco all info and down payment for non-warranty repair on my sectional. After 30 days with no action I called - my request fell through cracks after my case manager left company. Called again in July. Claimed they had just received info from seller to allow ordering of parts (stuffing). Three weeks later refunded my payments claiming they could not get parts. Wasted almost 3 months trying to get service

If I could give them zero starts, I would. ServeCo. Is a garbage company, no phone number found online or given by the La-Z-Boy store is valid. If you do manage to contact them the email they ask you to send additional information to, is also invalid. And even if you put in all the work and effort to actually get an email that works, they give you the run around on actually getting your product serviced. I’ve never regretted purchasing a protection warranty but wow. This company is straight trash.

Would not cover the fabric issue on a 5 year warranty and the furniture is 18 months old. Customer service hold times are crazy long. I would never spend a dime for this company again. $810 wasted.
