We chose Phang Nga Bay day trip. It was an amazing experience everything about the trip was perfect, the food was full of flavor and captain Harry and his crew took great care of me and my family throughout our journey , his enthusiasm and passion towards his work is astonishing. Would 100% recommend Simba Sea Trips to anyone travelling to thailand (phuket).

These guys are just amazing! I traveled solo but their tour was the highlight of my trip in Thailand. 11/10!

Let me share our thoughts on the experience itself, it’s well organized the staff are good and of course seeing the Phi Phi islands is indeed worth it. Now to the aspects that made our experience with Simba not so good. First of all one that might seem obvious but their claim of avoiding crowds is a bit misleading, while I believe that waking up at 4 and arriving around 06:30 can avoid some people you don’t avoid crowds, you might avoid a lot of people but Maya Bay is already full by the time you arrive there (if you are coming from Phuket). Second negative aspect, feeding wildlife. Thailand is amazing in many ways but one thing that tour operators still fail to grasp is the interaction with wild animals, for the sake of some laughs and photos they throw food at monkeys on the monkey island not realizing this can be a harmful practice, it will make the animals more susceptible to be targets since you can easily distract them but also your are taking from them the skill of looking for food in the wild, let them be in peace and don’t interact let people see them and take photos! And lastly the cherry on top of the negativity, we forgot a shirt when we were there and due to the circumstances we couldn’t make it back before our flight back home - we asked if they could send it to us we would cover all expenses of transport and your response was silence… EDIT (to address the response below): Don't worry I don't think 1 bad review will tarnish your company, if the 1 star gets the attention it gets, specially regarding the feeding of the animals than the goal is achieved :) - if your policy is that of not feeding animals then you really need to do some follow up as pretty much all crew member fed both monkeys and fishes a like and allowed for tourists to do the same. As per the crowds yes I agree that's why I mentioned that it can be misleading, I didn't say it was wrong, but if you could add a statement sharing that there's no guarantee that a lot of people will still be present might provide better expectations, I know crowds are unpredictable.^ EDIT 2: To this day the shirt never got to us, just wanted to highlight that since you accused me of lying in this regard :)

We had a semi-private tour, maybe got lucky, only one other couple with us for a total of 6. I liked their Phang Nga tour because instead of going to Panyee, which is dirty and touristy, they go to another island for lunch. I would have liked to see more of it though because they say it's what Phuket was like 50 years ago, but the lunch there was fantastic. Our guide took great pictures for us and spoke very good English. Nice little tours like sea caves and kayaking as well. Didn't have to touch a paddle either! They did the work. Chose this instead of Phi Phi because I'm a Bond fan and we had done enough snorkeling and beach stuff already.

The sunrise tour to the Phi Phi Islands was amazing. Simba Seat Trips covered every detail of the day from picking us up to providing great snacks and lunch. The tour guides were so personable and really made the day fun and enjoyable. It was an absolutely great day and I highly recommend this tour!

Small group, comfortable boat, well scheduled visits, friendly team, delicious launch, many fruits and snacks during the tour. All these justify the higher price comparing to other cheaper options.
