Everyone associated with this practice are exceptional people and exceptional professionals. Although most of my care has been by Dr. Murphy--who is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, thorough, and kind--my experiences with the other Doctors have been just as positive. All of the staff are helpful, patient, and competent--while also being very supportive and nice. I'm very grateful to have been a patient here for over 35 years.

My appointment today was basically an emergency for a broken front tooth. I was greeted very personally and professionally. I was taken back to the exam room at exactly the time of my appointment. The assistant was excellent and very thorough.. Dr Iam Leopold came in and talked about his plan to fix my problem. One hour later I was in my vehicle headed home pain free and my teeth looked perfectly normal. I can only say Dr. Leopold exceeded my hopes and I am grateful for his professional attitude and his exceptional skill. Thank you for the great experience. Gene Appleby

My boys (Ages 5 & 7) and I always have the most amazing experience when we go visit Dr. Leopold's office. The staff is kind, organized and do amazing work! Everyone is so knowledgeable -- and the equipment is always top of the line. Thanks for always taking care of us, we appreciate this team!

Excellent in all respects!

SLO Smiles is the absolute BEST! I chose them after not having been to the dentist in a VERY long time. Naturally, I had some "stuff" (ehem... cavities and gum stuff) that we had to work through. Despite everything, they didn't shame me or hit me with the "I'm very disappointed in you" speech. Instead, they approached me with education, optimism, positivity, and kindness. They know some of this stuff can be uncomfortable, but they do everything they can to ensure it's at least not painful (we'd all take discomfort over pain any day, am I right?!)... and they do so with compassion, constantly checking in. Now days, I actually look forward to my visits so I can show off my improved gums and pearly whites... and to get a good dose of happy people. From dental cleaning to cavity fills, everyone is positive, encouraging, and passionate about what they do. Special shout out to Sabrina, Dr. Morgan, "Tikki", and Tiz. Thank you for always taking care of me.

Always have a good experience. I feel comfortable going to office, the dentist and hygienist I have are the best. When most people dred it. I've never felt that way.

We have been clients of Dr Leopold and SLO smiles for almost 30 years ! We have seen Dr Mark and now is son Dr Ian. Fantastic dentistry family! We love everything about them! The front office staff is warm and welcoming, the hygienists are professional, respectful and so good at their skills! The dentists are really top notch - very thorough and kind and helpful! They are also very gentle and patient and that’s so important for a dentist to have these great qualities. All around superb customer service and we highly recommend .

Continuous year after year excellent dental services!

SLO Smiles are just the best dental providers. I’ve been going there for almost 50 years, starting with Dr Mark Leopold and now his equally excellent son Ian. The Practice always stays state of art in their care procedures and equipment. They will balance best care with your financial needs and come up with a plan to satisfy both concerns. My hygienist, Maria, is fabulous too! ❤️. My friends think I’m crazy when I say that I love my dentist, but I do.

Exceptional office staff and the dental tech, Brittany, was great, she explained everything as did Dr. Main. The office has the lastest equipment and I felt I received one of the best exams I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
