My husband was delighted with the Bible Meg restored. It had been given to him by his church choir on our wedding. Meg listened carefully to what I wanted and managed to reuse as much as possible of the original front and spine. It is now usuable again and much strengthened, as well as looking beautiful.

My husband was absolutely delighted with both the rescued dictionary and the archive box you created for his war diaries. I also showed the photos and explained what you had done to his Aunt in Vermont and his dad - both were so pleased and touched. His aunt in particular, had really fond memories of using the dictionary and was so happy that it had been saved - she remembered the feel of the letter cutouts and the all important smell of an old book. SO, absolutely fantastic result - and I can't thank you enough for the incredible care you took over the work, and for all the knowledge you shared as part of the process. My son came back utterly awe-inspired yesterday!

We took my mum's beloved cookbook for repair as a surprise for her birthday. It has great sentimental value with an inscription on the inner cover, and Meg did a wonderful job bringing it back to life. From the initial enquiry, Meg has been fantastic – always quick to respond, and so helpful. Thank you for getting it done so quickly for us; my mum was really pleased!

We have a very old and large burials register in the church that was falling apart. The spine had become completely detached from the pages and it was increasingly difficult to use as the pages kept falling out. A very kind and generous person contacted Meg and paid to have this book restored for us. Meg has done an absolutely superb job and the register has been sensitively and meticulously repaired. It took quite a long time because it required many stages to debind, clean, repair and rebind and it's a large register. We also now have a bespoke fitted external slide case to fit the final dimensions of the new binding in the same cloth finishing. So it was well worth the wait. Meg was extremely helpful and also provided a personal courier service when she was in the area, delivering the register safely back to us in person. Totally happy with the entire experience, would definitely recommend and use again without hesitation. Thank you.

Hello Sarah, Thank you very much for taking the time to send your feedback. It was a real pleasure working with the historical 'Register of Graves' of St. Peter's Church, Hersham. Every volume is so highly individual and this one did indeed require several stages to repair and rebind with an additional bespoke archival case. I am very happy to have been able to help preserve and protect this volume for the future. Many thanks and kindest regards, Meg Green

Meg has done a tremendous job in restoring a church’s graveyard register that is 100 years old and was falling apart and risking further damage while it was being inspected. It needed the care and attention that was actually given by this superb and expert book binder. She also made a slide-in box to safely store the register. Absolutely fantastic.

I'm extremely pleased with the work done on three vintage 'Babar' books. I think the work was done with great skill and care, and the books are now in a condition to be used again with no fear of causing further damage. (One in particular was falling apart before.) Great job, I would definitely recommend. One more point: if you're having your book(s) sent back to you, it's worth noting that mine were really well packaged up.

Meg beautifully re-bound a collapsing Visitors' Book - in half calf and marbled paper with extra pages added. It was sorted out by email and she produced exactly what I had in mind.

I am so delighted with the outstanding work that Meg has done on an important piece of family history. The address book, from a much loved holiday cottage, was in an advanced state of decay and without attention would have only been damaged further. Meg created a new binding with new cover entirely in keeping with the original, making assorted repairs and adding new pages to extend its life. It was a real pleasure to work with such an expert. Thank you Meg for your thoughtful and talented restoration of our treasure.

I had two very old books (1930's/1940's I think)which I had loved as a child and one ("A Christmas Carol" free gift edition) which I have read to my children in instalments at bedtime over the Christmas season. for many years past. Both had become extremely well worn and falling apart, but Meg has made a really first class and beautiful job of restoring them sympathetically, so that although they are clearly old, they are once more firm and lovely to hold and will stand many more years of reading into the future. I am absolutely thrilled with this, and have great enthusiasm in unreservedly recommending her bindery to anyone who wants to be similarly delighted.

Meg is an expert in her field, and shared that expertise with us when we brought a heritage Bible to her for repair and re-binding. She explained exactly what was needed, and why. The finished work was outstanding. We will have no hesitation whatsoever in bringing our next repair and re-binding project to Meg.

We tasked Meg with the unenviable task of rejuvenating my later father's wartime naval midshipman's journal, as well as his Fleet Air Arm pilot's log books which had been very damaged in a house fire. Meg came up with great suggestions and ideas as to the best way forwards, and the end result is perfect. On the journal, she even managed to retain elements of the original cover which included the original name plates, etc. We have no hesitation in recommending Meg and her services.

Excellent service all round. Meg restored a much loved old dictionary beautifully, preserving the external appearance using as much of the original materials as could be salvaged while restoring the strength it needed to keep the pages together. Very clear and friendly communication about what to expect and when. Highly recommended.

I recently took my very old copy of Alice in wonderland here as over the years the spine had disappeared. I received a very professional response to my initial request, a reasonable price quoted and a superb job done of restoring the book. I would highly recommend them.

Meg and her team did a brilliant job at repairing and binding three books that I had in my family for a long time. The quality of the work was extremely good, and they also personalized the work to suit each of the books (colour, materials, style etc.). Meg also kept us updated while the work was taking place, and returned the books promptly and safely. Overall a great service.

Do please feel free to call upon me anytime if I can be of service to you again. Kindest Regards.

Meg has worked wonders with our book. This history from WW2 has special family significance so it was a joy to have it restored to handsome health after it had fallen into sad disrepair...we are so grateful.
