I recently had my stairs sanded and re-stained by the team at Southern Stain and I am beyond happy with the result. From start to finish the team were very professional. Before tackling the stairs, Alex made sure to test a sample of my stairs to a) colour match to my floors, and b) make sure the finish was what I wanted. His team then executed the job perfectly. Not only that, the team were very clean and made sure I was satisfied with the job before they left. Would recommend 100 times over!

Alex and his colleagues embody everything one should look for in a highly skilled and professional team. The quote process is amazingly simple and extremely easy to understand. Coordination to come onsite and timely and the team is flexible. The work is very clearly explained, and the finish is exceptionally good. We had some hard colour matching to do, and it was done, perfectly. All the time there is just the right amount of very timely communication, and the workmanship is second to none and I could not be more pleased. I would recommend you look no further as it is rare to come across folks with this level of dedication, and what's more, they were really nice folks, so easy to get along with.

These guys are great. The transformed the look of our staircase - we love it. The dark stain is great! Prior to contacting southern stain, I contacted a few floor sanding&polishing companies but all of them said they could only do the top part of the step.

Southern Stain recovered my staircase after the initial installers had applied a stain that bubbled, leaving my stairs like sand paper. Hayden, invested the time in manually sanding back each step and re-stained. The finishing results was flawless. Highly recommend!!
