I was in an accident in late March 2024. My life changed overnight. I began losing feeling in my hands and arms, severe pain in neck and back, severe headaches, etc. I am the father of a 10-year-old boy who is very athletic and I really thought my days of playing with him and doing things outdoors was over. I could hardly walk, let alone play catch or go biking. I was depressed and hurting. I met Dr. Kouri and he was compassionate, attentive and took what was going on with me very seriously. From March through May 6 I could barely deal with the pain. The morning I awoke from my surgery I knew I made the right choice. Dr. Kouri helped me so much. My pain was gone. I had hope. I am back to my regular life again. Enjoying activities with my child that I could not manage after the accident. I have Dr. Kouri to thank. He is one of the most compassionate and caring physicians I have met (and I work in healthcare management) and he truly cares about his patients.

I have suffered from spinal stenosis for quite some time. To add a surgical screw coming loose from a spinal plate to the pain of something like that, you have real trouble! Dr. Kouri Is a brilliant man and an even more brilliant surgeon. Because of that, when he has an opinion, it is one that I trust unquestionably. I had surgery one week ago today, and already I am feeling the power of healing. To add to the successful outcomes of his surgery, he has a P.A. named Monica, whose individual intelligence plays a large role in the countless prodigious outcomes.

The staff is so amazing and kind. However the doctor had zero bedside manner. I was sent by the VA as i am a disabled vet. The doctor made my fiance and myself uncomfortable. He was rude, refused to answer questions, was checking his cell phone very dismissive and even refused to talk treatment options. I have no doubt he's a brilliant doctor but if you can't answer simple questions and can't even stay off your cell phone for 10 minutes I really have no faith you can do a major surgery on my spine. Personally I don't think he should work with vets if that's how he's going to behave. If I wanted to be treated like trash I'd have stayed with the wpb VA.

First off, front desk staff and the doctor's assistant were great and easy to speak to. But we had two appointments with this doctor for a workers comp injury. Saw him for 10 minutes total, little to zero insight, felt like he was quick to rush us out of the office and toss my stepdad's spinal injury to the next specialist. One of the coldest and lowest effort experiences I've had with a doctor.

The worst most non patient friendly doctor I ever had misfortune to meet. No empathy for my pain. Spent 2 minutes with me and never discussed my MRI or showed me images. Informed his staff how dissatisfied I was with him.

I had micro discectomy 4/17/23 by Dr Kouri. I had experienced horrible back and leg pain for 4 months. I was unable to sit or lay down. Upon waking up in the Recovery Room, I was 100% pain free. After surgery, I followed all of Dr Kouri’s instructions including many weeks of PT. I am back to playing pickleball, biking, traveling and any other physical activity. His professionalism, skills and exceptional care are phenomenal. I highly recommend Dr Kouri and his team. Robbin L.

Had bad fall that injured spinal cord and Dr Joshua Kouri operated for 51/2 hours and saved me from being paralyzed. Dr Kouri and his wonderful staff Erika and Physicians assistant Jessica are very caring since operation.

I want to thank Dr Joushua Kouri for getting me back on my feet again. After many months of leg pain, swelling and unable to walk long distances; I finally met a Dr who listened and knew exactly what to do. This has been a long and painful journey but thanks to Dr Kouri and his wonderful staff my lumbar surgery went well and I am on a road to recovery 🙏

Dr Kouri is a wonderful and gifted surgeon. Dr Kouri performed emergency surgery on my lower back when i couldn't get out of bed because of the pain. He and his staff are friendly and readily available to answer any questions you might have regarding your procedures. He & Monica were great!

Dr Kouri was highly recommended. When other healthcare professionals (Doctors, Nurses and others) would find out he was performing my surgery, they would tell me how lucky I was and assure me how happy I was going to be. I found out how many people had either been his patient or knew someone who was. He didn't disappoint. Not only is he a highly skilled surgeon, he is a caring and compassionate man. The office has been great for the follow up care. I am so glad my spinal fusion and after care was handled by this group.

Unfortunately I had to have emergency surgery due to my condition. From the original consultation, the PA (Jessica)was very professional and informed me of the process and answered all my questions in terms that I understood. Before surgery I meet the other PA, (Monica) she was awesome and professional and reassured me on all of my concerns. Then I met Dr. KOURI. I read his bio, and his expertise and knowledge in this field, hands down is remarkable. Doctors Bedside manner, is friendly and professional. Explained every process to me that I went through. This team gave me my life back, as I was suffering from major L4,L5 herniated disc bulging into my Spinal cord and all the surrounding nerves including the Sciatica. The day after I am pain free in my legs, and now waiting for my brace to start moving around to get my back stronger. Words cannot express my gratitude for the exceptional care I received. Dr. Kouri is a wonderful, talented surgeon. But do not go to Wellington regional hospital.
