Lovely cottage and had everything we needed. Kimberley was very friendly and helpful and allowed is an early check in. Would recommend to others visiting the area.

We absolutely loved this cottage, we felt instantly at home and it was a perfect break away after the busyness of Christmas. The rooms are spacious and clean, and well decorated. The host, Kimberly, was great with keeping us informed and answering questions. Loved the little touches like the shortbread and having all the basics there for us including a pint of milk. We'd definitely recommend this cottage and we'd love to come again.

A perfect 2 night stay over Christmas. Such a homely feel and exceptionally clean. An added bonus to get a goods night sleep in a comfortable bed. We will definitely stay again 😊

Stayed here at the weekend for a friend's Christmas get together and had the best time! Comfortable, cosy and relaxing. Stay Northside has all the modern appliances and tech you need, without spoiling the lovely character of the cottage. Fab pub just across the road too!

Had the most amazing stay at Northside. The place had everything you need plus some lovely extra. The house is immaculate top to bottom and has a lovely cozy feel. A lovely home from home. The bed is so comfy. I would highly recommend Northside to anyone. Thanks.

What a lovely place, the decor was beautiful and top quality. The log burner is was a wonderful addition on a windy winter night. The beds were really comfortable too. Would definitely recommend to others.

We have just spent 4 days at Northside . Nothing was too much trouble for Kimberly. She gave lots of information as we were staying with our 2 year old grandson. The house was amazing, lots of extra touches for our grandson.
We had dinner at the pub opposite which was really nice, recommend booking as it gets busy.
Lots to do within 3-5 miles such a find . Would recommend this house and the service provided is 5 star .

Lovely cosy cottage in a village (with a pub across the road) in a perfect spot to explore this part of the North East of England. Comfortably appointed with plenty of space for 4 and lots of lovely welcoming touches. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again the next time we are in the area. Very kind and responsive hosts too.

Cost and welcoming cottage
☺ Newly renovated property that was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Lots of lovely little touches to make it feel homely and welcoming. Comfortable beds so we all slept well. Plenty of off street parking and a pub across the road - what more do you need?

Beautiful well appointed home from home next to the village green. Equipped with everything you would need, and appreciated all the clear instructions and information. We used it for a weekend stay having relatives in the village. Would definitely use again. No more premier inn weekend's in this area for us thank you very much!

We arrived late evening and were very impressed with the property. It was immaculate, from the furnishings to the decor. The bathroom was pristine and the bedrooms were so welcoming. Parking was very easy and there was a comprehensive welcome pack covering all essentials.The additional extras of coffee, tea, milk and biscuits were a nice ouch. This would be an ideal place to base you holiday and would highly recommend this property to one. An absolutely beautiful place.

We had a great few days whilst visiting Durham university. The cottage was lovely, very comfortable with lots of nice touches, and the welcome shortbread was especially appreciated!

Beautiful little cottage with great parking.
☺ The peaceful environment, great and easy parking, facilities (including ground coffee).
(Used it to stay overnight for Kynren show: the place is 3.5 miles away from Car Park H, if you are doing the same.)

Last minute booking to break up our journey home from the Cairngorms to Suffolk.Great host, great place to stay, comfy, cosy and all the bits (and more) to ensure a restful retreat. would stay again and would recommend to anybody needing a place to stay in the area.thanks
