Brian our sushi chef was absolutely fantastic and a true master of his craft. Every piece he presented was to die for, each one melting in your mouth and leaving you wanting more. This was my first time to New York, but it will not be my last after this experience. The management and staff are incredibly personable, the experience intimate, and all around a once in a lifetime feel of a time. I’d recommend this to anyone in the world to try.

SBB in Chelsea is my favorite location of them all. We started coming here about a year and a half ago and met the manager Imax and their team of chefs. They go above and beyond to provide the best service and what truly defines hospitality. I've taken friends, groups, parents here, everyone leaves raving about the team and experience.
This is the perfect dining experience if your a local or visiting NYC.

Accidentally posted from my husbands account but not mad at double posting bc that good lol ~ This place has a 4.8 rating for a reason! 10/10 experience, Imax the manager / host was incredible and made our experience 10X better! The mixologist did not miss on any of the drinks and had such incredible personality. I took my coworker for her bday & we truly had the best time. I also love it’s a speakeasy vibe & the quality of fish is on point. It’s hard to find high quality fatty tuna and theirs could compete with anyone. I love the JC location so it was awesome to find out the NY Chelsea one was on point with service & quality. Can’t wait to try more of their locations but I will definitely be back at this one!

This place has a 4.8 rating for a reason! 10/10 experience, Imax the manager / host was incredible and made our experience 10X better! Randomly found this place on a Tuesday night and had a wonderful experience. Staff was so friendly, food was DELICIOUS, and at a reasonable price. Only critique is that each piece was quite a bit smaller than other omakase I've had - but the flavor and freshness was exceptional.

Amazing experience at the Chelsea location. The 17-course Omakase was superb, and Chef Ancho and Imax made us feel welcome. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a speakeasy-style Omakase experience in Manhattan.

I’m never disappointed with my experience at Sushi but Bou. The Chelsea location is my favorite in the group. The manager, Imax, always makes sure I’m having a good time. The bartender, Adrian, pours the best drinks (and he’s handsome too!). The Itamae I had was Brian and he always made sure each piece was to my satisfaction. I can not wait to go again!

My dream restaurant has been found. I love awesome cocktails pair with omakase. Amazing friendly staff from the manager IMAX and super fun omakase chef Ryan. Enjoyed the atmosphere and warm hospitality with rounds of free sake. This is definitely a hidden gem in nyc👍👍👍
