So excited to finally share how deceiving SQL is. My wife and I rented for 2 years from SQL, you can read her full review below. SQL had the audacity to respond to my wife's review gaslighting our experience and claim that because we moved and did not leave a review for over a year the statute of limitations on their bullshit as professional landlords was expired. Emails with dates attached regarding the fridge debacle that took 5 months to solve attached, not very timely in my opinion. 0/10 would not recommend

As a couple in grad school, we rented from SQL for 2 years due to their convenient location to campus (2021-2023). If we hadn't been on a tight budget as students for another security deposit and other moving expenses, we certainly would not have extended our 1st year lease. The 102 Ashworth apartment we rented was recently refurbished and photographs well but certainly not quality work, but that was the least of our concerns. Aside from Stephanie Brown, who did our initial tour, this company has horrible communication, and all-out ignores maintenance requests. We dealt with a leaking dishwasher on & off for months on end. Worst than that, they refused to repair or replace a malfunctioning fridge/freeze for 4+ MONTHS (forcing us to utilize coolers and stress over wasted food). To address this due to their lack of action, we had to involve city code enforcement to get any appropriate response. After moving out of state, we were pleased to receive our well-deserved security deposit; however, we would advise against renting from them if you can avoid it.

Loved the stay at SQL. The maintainance was good...It was really good stay ... Editing: After keeping house nicely and facing lot of issues and infact cleaning the house by professional before leaving there was deduction of $100 from each of us..this is totally not good..beware before u go.

Great service

Worst renting company I've ever had to deal with. I've lived in my house for two weeks and maintenance has lied repetitively about coming to repair a mold infestation we've been dealing with since move in, we have ring cameras so we have proof that no one came. Our dishwasher was broken when we moved in and in an attempt to fix it, maintenance broke it worse so it ended up leaking all over our floor. We're missing 2-3 smoke detectors, our porches are falling apart and are unstable, and a ground floor window has been broken since before move in and I had to tape it myself, no one's come to board it up or replace it. Our parents have done more maintenance than SQL has. We've called code enforcement to come so we have legal proof of our poor living conditions. We're also looking into legal action to hold maintenance and this company accountable for all of the damage my roommates and I have had to endure for the few weeks that we've lived here.
