I am customer of your book store for a long time & visited the stall @ the BMICH i am disappointed about the recent incident of the behaviour of your Security staff and some of your own staff where a journalist speaking on behalf of an customer assaulted by this security man ,Was Framed by your staff with the help of some stupid policeman @ the BMICH pls take disciplinary action to correct your staff , Because we as customers fear to even visit your store after this episode

Sarasavi is a bookshop with a history of more than 50 years in Sri Lanka. Sarasavi bookshop in Nugegoda was the go-to place for all stationery needs for school kids, parents and many more. Even now the stationery outlet is there and caters to the school needs of many. The bigger outlet is situated in the Samudradevi Road with all sorts of educational books, kids books, novels and other subject related text books etc. You can sit and read a few pages while you shop. There's parking at the front of the store and opposite it too. You can also park in the private (paid) car park next to Sarasavi stationary shop.

සාරසවි පොත්හල් ගැන කිවයුතු අවාසනාවන්ත සත්‍යය නම්, එහි සේවාව සහ පාරිභෝගිකවරුන්ට ලබාදෙන අත්දැකීම් ඉතා අඩු තත්ත්වයකි. පොත් සමග ත්‍රස්තවදින් පවතින බවක් දැනෙන අතර, මෙහි සේවකයන් පාරිභෝගිකයන්ට සැලකීම අන්තිම සවුතුවි. ඔවුන්ගේ නොසලකා හැරීම් සහ අවශ්‍යතාවන්ට වඩා දොස්කාරකම් පමණක් දක්වන්නේ. අදහස් දක්වමින් පාරිභෝගිකයා වෙත සෙවකයන්ගේ නොසලකා හැරීම් පවතින අතර, එමගින් නිසි සහාය නොලැබීමෙන් විශාල අවස්ථා අහිමිවෙනවා. කොළඹ පොත් ප්‍රදර්ශනයේ සිදු වූ සිදුවීම නම් මහත් පහත් ක්‍රියාවකි, එය පාරිභෝගිකයින්ට ඔවුන්ගෙන් කරන සැලකීමේ පිළිවෙතක් හෙළි කරයි.

Their passion for books is evident, and their extensive knowledge of various genres and authors makes it a joy to browse through their recommendations. Visited nugegoda sarasavi today. Now they have a big parking area for the customers and the security guard there was very friendly. He is doing a great job. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they know a lot about books. The staff in the fourth floor was very passionate about books and has a huge knowledge about everything. Great collection of books. Highly recommended.

One of the oldest and best bookstores in Colombo, this shop is located in Nugegoda. They offer a fantastic collection of books from both local and international publishers. Additionally, they have separate sections for discounted books and stationery. Highly recommended.

Very bad customer service,

Great bookstore. Wide selection, also of international English books. Taking off one star cause some of the staff (not all) were standing around doing nothing, when we asked them where to find something they'd go and ask the one same colleague who was already busy cleaning up books. We came with a baby and one of the staff girls tried to touch our baby without asking us even though we said no. Rude and uncivilized.
