Bespoke southern Italy and Malta tour! Sure was a delight to meet Mario again as i know i will have a wonderful and stress free tour. Mario has been very involved with the planning based on my duration of trip and where i like to visit. His knowledge has allowed him to planned us a bespoke private tour with everything taken care of. We saw everything we wanted to see, without having to wait in long lines. We got right to the site entrance. Mario was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to get us into every site in Rome that we were interested in and he also took us to a few places that we were not anticipating, but they were very interesting sites. He helped us in all of our transportation needs and always got us to where we needed to be on time. He also helped us with our tour in Venice. Well worth it.

Truly Grand We just returned from an incredible family vacation in Sicily with Grand Tours, and it was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed a variety of fun activities, including cooking classes, boat trips, food tours, and historical tours, learning so much along the way. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the coordination with tour guides and drivers was flawless. We didn't encounter any issues throughout the entire trip. Thanks to Mario, this truly became a trip of a lifetime that we shared with our grown children! We can't wait for the next trip.

Meravigliosa giornata esplorando l'area archeologica di Ostia Antica Abbiamo fatto la visita ad Ostia Antica, area archeologica, proprio per il 25/4/2024 e siamo arrivati con il battello sul Tevere imbarcandoci da ponte Marconi. Esperienza bellissima, tutto perfetto! Ci hanno accolto al punto di imbarco con professionalità e cordialità, poi il comandante a bordo era molto simpatico e preparato e prodigo di spiegazioni e l'imbarcazione molto comoda e sicura. Ci hanno anche offerto la colazione a bordo e si poteva avere un buon caffè a bordo. Parte aperta al sole e parte coperta per chi volesse stare dentro. Bagno. Arrivati sul posto abbiamo avuto un'oretta per pranzare ( c'è un ottimo bar tavola calda presso il sito) e poi abbiamo atteso le guide e noi abbiamo avuto Luca che era straordinario, ci ha davvero fatto entrare in contatto con l'antichità in un viaggio appassionante tra le rovine mostrandoci i siti più belli e davvero rendendo la visita avvincente e per nulla noiosa. Grazie a tutti voi per una giornata indimenticabile!

An educational trip to be repeated With our colleagues we decided to let our students (three fifth graders of primary school) experience the experience of sailing on the Tiber and visiting the excavations of Ostia Antica. Sailing turned out to be an experience, as well as interesting, pleasant and fun, thanks to the very nice boatman. The guides Valentino and Laura were able to explain the excavations of Ostia very well. We thank the organization, which also came to our aid, making a second boat available to us, after one of our buses had broken down. P.S.: when writing the review, when asked 'Who were you there with?' the option 'with school' is missing, so I chose 'for business'.

Unbelievable lightness of travelling As my mobility is continually getting less and less, virtual travels become an obvious choice, so during last three years I have taken many of them. Those guided by Mario within the Grand Tour Europe platform turned out to be unique. Owing to multitude of virtual media, they scintillate with the magic of Italia. They are live, with bits of music and film; they fly from place to place, or follow drone flights over Rome or Venice, enter palaces and museums, and go down to catacombs. Mario’s extensive knowledge of Italian history and culture shines through. Those virtual tours with Mario gave me a new perspective on many Italian subjects, changing my understanding of what I have seen in Italy before. Bringing History Alive! I have joined Mario on virtual tours over the last four years and have also done in person in country tours with him when I have been in Rome.
