Our flat languished on the market for over a year with Personal Agent. Very poor communication, which dried up to nothing in the end, until we changed to other local estate agents, who were able to sell our flat. Personal Agent took a month, including chasers, to even put a for-sale board up (busy main road flat). I felt our agent led us far down the wrong path, advising we sell to buyers from Hong Kong, who turned out to be, at best, time wasters, at worst, scammers. During that time, he ignored my instructions to keep the flat on the market, when we may have missed out on offers from legitimate buyers. Instead, we had to put up with the buyers’ delays, jumping through all sorts of hoops, following the buyers’ demands to obtain reports, remove white goods etc. I think our agent forgot who he was supposed to be working for! Maybe our flat was too much of a challenge and not straight forward enough for them. Much improvement is needed on the service and communication at the Stoneleigh branch of Personal Agent.
