Great stay! We stayed at the Valley (Villa Gallery) over New Year 2024. Everything was spotlessly clean and the cottage was very well-equipped. Lots of thoughtful additional touches too! Great location for exploring the coastline (Perranporth, Chapel Porth & St. Agnes etc). We loved it and will be back.

Cornwall holiday at The Valley We were very impressed with the property that we stayed in, providing everything we could have wanted for our family holiday. The staff were also friendly and helpfull. The location was ideal giving easy access to the surrounding attractions. Should we decide on another Cornwall holiday we would definately consider staying again.

Cornish contentment We have just come back from the nicest few days!! What a find this place is. Firstly great value for money on the VP offer we got…. Then the offer for extra nights ridiculously cheap just had us staying longer. The cottage was really cosy and had everything that you need. I loved the mezzanine effect. The site was quiet as we went out of season and we didn’t really use much of the facilities but the pool and restaurant all looked great. I imagine there is a great vibe in the summer. The location is brilliant for seeing Cornwall. Nowhere is actually much further than 45 mins. We visited 10 Cornish villages/towns in 6 days!! For me this place was about the little touches. The staff were so lovely. Treats for us and the dogs on arrival!! Rapeseed Oil, sea salt, Cornish tea, Tassimmo coffee……. All provided fresh and unopened. Then as we left a gorgeous branded tote bag of goodies for the journey home!!! I even totalled a light with my truck by accident and it was replaced by the time we got home and they won’t charge me for it!!! We will definitely be back and I really hope more people (but not too many) discover this place and keep it going so we can keep returning!!! Miss it already T

Amazing week We stayed here for a week ( September 27th / October 4th 2024) and what a relaxing week it was. You can do as much or as little as you choose ! The serenity here was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed it very much. Our apartment was immaculately presented with everything you that you needed. The resort has a tennis court, indoor and outdoor heated pools, games rooms, its dog friendly, walking paths and a restaurant. We visited local attractions nearby, we also visited the most southerly point of Britain during our stay here. Katurah and staff had a list posted to your apartment everyday of suggested day trips that you could do or not. Thank you Katurah and staff for making our week here so memorable and such an immaculately clean apartment. We would highly recommend a stay here. Keep up the high standards and we hope to return here one day.

Cornwall Visit Multiple visits in the Cornwal area - castles such Tintagel, - multiple manoirs and gardens, - walking in fishing cities We were quite lucky with the weather conditons and temperature. As described by many of our friends, Cornwall deserve to be visited.

Home from Home - Cosy & Comfortable The Valley is going from strength to strength, we are returning guests and stay each year and found the private communal cottages in 2022. The staff are very helpful and accommodate all needs, The Valley is perfectly situated centrally to explore everything Cornwall has to offer.

Peaceful and comfortable The cottage was beautifully furnished with comfort in mind. The beds very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious, superbly and generously equipped with everything you would need including V&B China. It really was ‘home from home’ and did not have the feel of a ‘holiday’ cottage. The setting is peaceful and a lovely base to explore Cornwall. Absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. The staff are excellent, very attentive but not intrusive.

The Valley - October 2024 Lovely accommodation and perfectly positioned for exploring Cornwall. Cottage was spacious and well fitted. Surrounding gardens pretty and well kept. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again at our next holiday to Cornwall!

Excellent Holiday Village Our third holiday at The Valley and it will certainly not be our last. It is certainly 5 Star accommodation with the most helpful Team who ensure all needs are catered for. There is all the equipment provided, the most comfortable beds all made up with fresh towels and bath robes. Based centrally for visits to all the surrounding resorts. Just love it here!

Lovely second stay! 2nd time at The Valley and it did not dissapoint! We came for the first time in 2021 and then returned at the start of September! This time we start in one of their Croft cottages, which had a brand new kitchen in with lovely american Frdige freezer! Was a great upgrade from the last time we stayed, and while we didn't think it could've got any better than last time this made it better! Last time we came was in COVID and they had to had the individual pool slots, we are so glad they have kept this as our kids are quite shy and wouldn't be able to enjoy it as much when lots of other people are there We were also delighted they sorted the restaurant out! Last time in COVID it was barely open, however this time it was open lots more and the food was great! We'll be back again but hopefully won't leave it as long this time!

Great family holiday 🙂 Highly recommend the Valley, we opted for a 3 bed pet friendly cottage which certainly did not disappoint, you could not tell that dogs were allowed as the standard of cleanliness was second to none, spacious rooms and very well equipped kitchen. A welcome pack was provided for our dog including treats, towel and a list of pet friendly beaches, we took my two grandsons and both were well catered for including cots, monitors etc. The site is secure and includes both outdoor and a indoor pool which has a very easy to use booking system for private family swimming. They have an excellent restaurant on site which also provides take away service which was a godsend after a long journey down. The management team went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect and there was also a goody bag to take home when time to leave. Really looking forward to a return visit next year.

8th and LAST stay at the Valley This was our 8th visit to The Valley and unfortunately the LAST. We love this holiday and look forward to it each year, the location is perfect, we get to bring our dog and we have loads of brilliant memories here. This year we were left really disappointed. The main reason which we didn’t find out until 4 days into our 7 day holiday was that local residents are able to book the “private pool” a week in advance and guests staying on site can only book 48 hours in advance. In 7 years we have NEVER had trouble getting in the pool out of season. When we arrived we tried to book the pool on the link and thought it was strange there was no availability all evening when i asked the lady on reception she said it was just “busy” but yet most of the lodges were empty. I tried to also book a slot for the weekend on Thursday but there was no availability until 8pm in the evening so again i called her and said is this correct and she just said “yes it’s the weekend guests booking their slots” never once were we told “local residents” can now book the pool. So we paid £2000 for a week in a 5 star resort with our 4 year old daughter and the only times we could use the pool at the weekend was 8pm because local residents had paid £20 an hour and booked it all day. We had a really unpleasant situation one evening where we turned up at what we thought was our time slot, daughter in costume, arm bands on ready to swim to be met with 3 women who rudely said “we’ve booked and paid for the pool for an hour and we want it by ourselves” we thought it was strange why would you pay if your staying here so i asked why she had paid and she said she lives locally and they can pay hire the pool. We then had our daughter in tears as she wanted to swim so we thought we would wait until 6 in the hope the next people would let her have a swim, the next people that came at 6 also “lived down the road” and paid to use the pool. So at prime time 5pm to 7pm guests couldn’t use it. On Saturday it was a bit warmer so we decided to use the outdoor pool seeing as we couldn’t get in the indoor all day, it was ironic as there were 9 people round the pool that were paying guests in the valley all moaning about the indoor pool and locals were coming and going in the pool. No one is manning these locals we saw a family come out of the pool at 5pm and their kids then abused the play area for well over an hour while they just sat there so not only was our daughter not able to use the indoor pool she also wasn’t able to use the park. We are all for The Valley making some extra money out of season by hiring out the pool but it should be that paying guests get priority over locals. We also felt that the standards had dropped a bit as follows: - Changing room area in pool stinks and really needs some tic - Hot tub in pool area still doesn’t work properly - Gym door is completely rotten and is an eye sore when you go in the pool - We had 2 bulbs out in our main living area - One of the blinds in the main area had been broken as glued together badly - The windows and seals were filthy and mouldy - Our main bathroom stunk like sewerage until we run the shower and sink for 30 mins - Our bed sheet was torn and worn out - Games room was FULL of cobwebs, spider and dead bugs, clearly hadn’t been cleaned for months. - Wifi is still terrible These are only minor things but things you wouldn’t expect from a 5 star resort. We had a lovely week we made some lovely memories again but the pool thing and the fact the staff aren’t telling paying guests and when confronted about it lie is not great. The Valley are advertising last min get aways so if you are planning a last min get away and plan to use the indoor pool i would suggest you book your time slot before you arrive or at least make sure there is availability. We decided to leave a day early on Sunday called into reception to hand the key back etc but it was all in darkness and there was just a key box outside. The more worrying thing is we know the pool is booked out externally from 9am to 8pm so who is controlling who is coming and going? Despite the welcome email saying reception is open daily?

The Valley summer holiday Lovely place to stay and extremely dog friendly. As a family we all enjoyed the accommodation and facilities.
