I would highly recommend choosing Tipiti Surf School if you want to rent equipment or learn to surf! The school has a warm, friendly environment with fantastic instructors, and I was able to join a group lesson (2 people) very easily.
The teachers are super kind, relaxed, but professional, and they speak perfect english - Patri helped me to improve my skills by giving detailed feedback during the lesson, and I was able to turn for the first time 🙌 I also appreciated the small class size (I think max 5), as the instructors are able to support everyone.
The beach is super beautiful, there is a restaurant, bathroom and shower nearby, and the area has a good vibe. My partner was also able to rent a board & wetsuit, and they even offered to look after our dog while we surfed. Just a great place to learn! I will return when I get the chance! :)
I've been to a few surf schools now and this was the best one by far! The people working there are SOO friendly and kind. My son and I really cracked surfing here. The equipment is excellent: we tried out numerous boards out over a few days as our skill level increased. We went for many private lessons which were just for my son and I. They taught us techiques but also how to read the surf forecast so we would know where to go in future. The beach is good for all ages and skill levels and there is a great surfer culture here in the evenings. Highly recommended!

Die Tipiti Surf School macht alles richtig, was man nur richtig machen kann. Es war der beste Zufall, der uns passieren konnte, als wir von Patri und Chris herzlich empfangen wurden, obwohl wir eigentlich auf dem Weg zu ihren Konkurrenten waren. Die Atmosphäre war von Anfang an fantastisch. Professionalität gepaart mit sehr viel Spaß, Kompetenz und Motivationsfähigkeit. Da es nur maximal 5 Personen pro Gruppe sind, findet immer wieder eine eins zu eins Betreuung statt und man hat immer das Gefühl, dass es ihnen wirklich wichtig ist, dass man eine tolle Zeit hat. Egal ob es sofort klappt oder nicht. Patri konnte mich wirklich motivieren, dass ich nach meinem nicht ganz so tollen Start noch zwei weitere Tage gekommen bin und dann so viel Spaß doch noch am Surfen gefunden habe! Nach dem Surfen gab es kaltes Bier, eine kleine Dusche, tolle Gespräche mit großartigen Menschen, Musik und einfach eine entspannte Zeit.
Also absolut empfehlenswert! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

La experiencia ha sido muymuy top!! Tanto si se te da bien el deporte como si no eres una crack, encuentras tu ritmo, tu espacio y sobretodo la mejor mano de este equipazo, tanto en técnica, pasión, consejos, emoción, y buen rollo asegurado!

Die beste Surfschule in der ich bisher war. Man bekommt viel Feedback und nicht einfach nur einen Schubs um auf die Welle zu kommen wie in vielen anderen Surfschulen. Sie halten die Gruppengröße klein und sorgen auch nach dem Surfen mit einer ganz tollen Atmosphäre in der Surfschule dafür, dass man gerne wiederkommt. Danke Patri 😘
