"You'll Have Good Day & Bad Days With SpotOn"
Our Account Manager, Krystle Simms is amazing with how she handles our ongoing issues. Implementations. Online ordering as you can't add a discount or BOGO to one food item as it will take a discount of all items. Weekend support needs attention as they are not helpful as I usually wait until Monday. I will contact support any POS, BOH and Reporting issues as I will reach out to my account manager first to solve any of my issues and if they are not available I contact support.

"Responsive Rep and User Friendly Software"
When comparing SpotOn to other POS systems I have done work in, I find the SpotOn back of house to be the most detailed, straightforward, and user friendly. I also appreciate a rep being assigned to our accounts, not every company provides representatives. Our representative Krystle Simms is always quick to respond, always gets our cases where they need to go, finds solutions herself, or follows up on open cases when we have more time-sensitive issues. Lately the most frustrating thing has been not being able to get through to level one support on the weekends. There is a rarely an answer or a call back from level one support when they are contacted on saturdays and sundays. They are currently working on a more direct integration with Reddie Group, whom we have recently begun to utilize more often. A more direct integration will be beneficial in eliminating the need to also work through Chowly as a middle man.

"New Owners = Issues - Lucky to the RESCUE"
We love Lucky, his knowledge and friendliness is 10/10. He is the literal definition of above and beyond. Keep him as long as you can, because he is a gem! So far, nothing yet. We need charging ports and that might be the fix we need. Connectivity issues, dropping payment etc.

"Amazing customer service"
Spot on works well for a POS. We use them in our venue, pool hall and horse racing bar. If we ever have an issue our guy Michael comes by and solves it in no time. They also provide online training for every level of user in our system. The only negative I have. Was not receiving Michael's information sooner from our GM. Ghosts were in the machine. Thank goodness Michael exercized the double printing demons.

"Overall positive experince but with opportunities"
The most important thing for me was to have the ability to integrate 3rd party. We have accomplished that via Spot On It did feel like our company was much more in the beta phase or growth with the Spot On. It felt as if the transistion was going to be easy and we dealt with challenge. We have had some opportunities, when the system goes down it goes down hard. We have overtime become better trouble shooters. Regarding Spot On Support it has improved. The Enterprise support is an upgrade.

Great team and support when needed and for any feature requests. No direct in house delivery although they do work well with Captain AI as a dispatch platform. Also they are building out direct integrations with third party delivery platforms such as DoorDash and Uber. Should help with order consistency from those platforms and saves us money because we won't have to pay for another integration service.

"POS works great."
Easy to use. Customer service is always quick to help or do any updates. Online ordering and customer database is a big reason I made the switch. Setup with initial rep was painful. Rep was not helpful Online ordering - I didn’t have this option before with my last POS. Growing the online sales was a main focus of mine. Also getting customer info to send specials and keep in contact.

"Not bad and 24/7 Support"
Its 24/7 Support from customer service and also other departments. There are times where the payment terminals have outages and are not able to use them to charge or they need to be restarted because they are not receiving signal from the POS Any support or menu structure problem that we have. It allows for us to operate our business better and easier for the customer as well.

"Experience with Local-Op"
Lucky our Local-Op was very helpful with our requests and concerns that we had call support but unable to fix it for us. Customer support on call doesn't seem to have the same skill set as the local-op. Not to mention among customer support on the phone sometime gave out a different information that not necessary correct. Lucky able to set up the screen layout and some back of the house that meet our needs

The support from rep Natala has been incredible - attentive and helpful. As a system there is a lot of flexibility for the business and most changes are quick and easy. Natala is super knowledgeable as a rep, an admin and a user! She has made herself readily available to me and to the business whenever we have questions. She has taken inquires day and night. She has always responded with energy, patience and understanding. She often brings suggestions for how we can improve efficiency. She offers suggestions for how we might improve accuracy of output (analytics) so that we have a clearer picture of the business. She is proactive in teaching tips and tricks vs waiting for us to ask about the capabilities. She is fast, whip smart and high energy. It has been a pleasure working with her. We have faced the occasional glitch where we cannot clear something. Natala has swiftly fixed these for us! There are a few things I wish SpotOn could do differently but the majority of issues I have encountered have a solution OR there is a solid reason for not having a specific capability (clocking out before server closes all checks as it has potential consequences) Complexity in a POS system is par for the course. I continue to learn and discover improvements for the business. My suggestion is to put in the time learning and asking questions as the system is capable of customization! Time keeping. Communication to kitchen (ordering food) Checks for guests. Reporting on the businesss performance. All critical to restaurant operations so it's obvious how these functions are benefiting us.

"Easy and on demand credit card processing"
I can use my smart phone to easily and securely accept client credit card payments. The processing rates are a little high, but not unreasonable for the convenience. It's very easy to use, even worth having as a back up method to accept payments. Square makes it super easy to accept a client's credit card payment on the go. Great to have at a meeting to close a sale and accept a payment on services.

"A learning curve with benefits"
We love our customer service, Stephanie and Brandon and Paul our installer have all been incredible. We went from an old school legacy system and it was a bit of a learning curve but we are starting to hit our stride. Our customers like that we can now take tap pay and the online ordering system works well. I really wish we could split end of day reports between day and night shifts. We are unable to do this and since our restaurant closes between shifts, we need timely reports for each shift so we can reconcile each shift properly. I wish some small things with Spoton reserve were more customizable and I wish they were cases for the handheld devices as we have had to exchange a few times and we've only had the system since July 2024. Better POS customization and payments options, we used to have issues with different credit cards on our legacy system but no more. We also love the digital gift cards and the fact that we can use the handhelds to send orders instantly while still chatting to guests at the table

"Square Customer For 5+ Years"
Square is relatievly user friendly. They have been around for a long time so I feel like most people have seen or used them before in some capacity. This makes is easy to train new employees on it and also shows customers we are using a trustworthy product. Sometimes I feel that Square can be a little slow to evolve. There are some things users have been asking for that still have not come to fruition. Square is able to provide us a lot of features in one package. I like being able to build and edit our website easily. We are able to send out marketing emails to people who have visted us. It's all very intutive so it's been great as someone just starting out.
