A beautiful day in Jerusalem Udi was a wonderful source of information on our journey through Jerusalem. He was on time, made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Udi supported us ahead of time by recommending a hotel to stay at, and designed a day tour specific to our requests. He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the history and culture of the country. Our visit to Yad Vashem and the Old City was enriched by his explanations. Udi made us want to return to the region to hire him again and show us more of this beautiful country.

Udi is awesome !!! I found Udi by first reaching out to the owner of Hike Israel. He referred me and I connected with Udi who understood that I wanted a rigorous but fun-filled 7 day expedition. Udi put my itinerary together quickly and hooked us up with an expert guide named Jonathan. Between the two of them, we saw Israel in a very exciting and personal manner. We had personal escorts to and from our plane which was absolutely fantastic. We biked Jerusalem, walked the old city, explored the Israel Museum and Yad Vashem, and ate at amazing restaurants. We visited the Dead Sea, hiked the snake path at Masada at sunrise, hiked Ein Gedi preserve, bathed in waterfalls, trekked up to the Galilee and hot air ballooned, planted trees with the JNF, toured the Syrian border with an intelligence expert, rappelled down the tallest waterfall in Israel, and ate with the locals as much as possible. We finished our trip in Tel Aviv enjoying everything the city had to offer. It was an amazing 9 day trip that I will never forget. I highly recommend Udi and his staff. No regrets.

Our First Trip to Israel Fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable!! Our family wanted an authentic experience for our first trip to Israel. We especially wanted a private guide who could provide an educational insight into the history of Israel, as well as to tailor our experiences based on our preferences. We spent some time deciding, and Udi was our first choice. We were definitely not disappointed!! Udi prepared a 3-day itinerary that perfectly matched what we wanted, and also a lot more over and beyond. Udi is a not only knowledgeable, but is also a great storyteller and provides an unbiased description of the region. His warm demeanor and helpfulness was also appreciated. His depth of caring came through when he made suggestions regarding how to commemorate my mother who passed from COVID, and who had always wanted to go to Israel but was not able to. Thanks to Udi, our family enjoyed memorable experiences that can be narratives that we share. Looking forward to our next experience with Udi in Israel!!

Great tour guide in Israel. Udi toured my daughter and her husband for 5 1/2 days and was nothing but accommodating. My daughter sprained her ankle and he ordered a scooter for her to tour in Jerusalem and helped my son-in-law literally lift her around areas where the scooter did not go. He was able to tour them to every place they had checked on a personal interest list and then some. Reliable, friendly, and experienced tour guide.

The best of the best of the best We had a 3 week tour of Israel in October/November of 2022. Upon our initial arrival at TLV, we were immediately picked up and taken to Tiberius. The next morning we met our guide, Udi. He was our driver and tour guide for three full days in the Galilee region. He was kind, warm and ridiculously knowledgeable. His knowledge of the entire area was incredible. After these 3 days, he was our driver and tour guide for two days based out of Haifa. His knowledge of those areas were equally impressive. He also was actively engaged in helping us solve a hotel problem we had in Haifa. We also got a chance to meet his beautiful family one afternoon in a coffee shop. Also, it should be known that I have mobility restraints and had an 35kg scooter with me. Udi loaded and unloaded this at every single stop we made the entire trip. We spent 5 total days with Udi and loved every minute of it. Udi is extremely knowledgeable about Israel and from the standpoint of all religions that deem it holy. He can discuss the Christian history, the Jewish history and the Muslim history. He is also an honest and very personable man. He gets my highest rating and review. As a side note , although he was not our guide in Jerusalem, he and his wife gave us a long list of restaurant recommendations. We followed their advice and are very glad we did. I cannot complement or recommend Udi enough. He will make your trip more productive, more enjoyable and more fun.

Like an Old Friend Come well read, open minded, and fit and you will leave a better person with great memories of a region unlike anywhere else you have ever been. Udi was patient and made learning about the layers of culture, war, and struggles of the region entertaining and mysterious. He also presented the complicated history and current religious situation with mindfulness, respect, and free from bias.Udi went well beyond a traditional tour guide by also offering tips and advice for other local attraction, restaurants, shops, etc., etc. After visits with Udi to the Old City, Masada and the Dead Sea, it felt like he was an old friend who had joined us on this journey!

We went on a tour with Udi following the history of Jerusalem and Jesus. Udi was very well informed and had a lot of knowledge. His explanations really brought the history to life. We visited in the Cardo, the old shuk (market) and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. It was a fascinating tour and we learned a lot. Udi was an excellent guide and very considerate.

מדריך מעולה. אודי עשה לנו סיור בעיר העתיקה בירושלים, ומאוד נהננו מהידע ומהדרך המעניינת שהוא מסביר את ההיסטוריה והמשמעות של המקום. מאוד מומלץ! Excellent guide. Udi gave us a tour of the Old City of Jerusalem, and we really enjoyed the knowledge and the interesting way it explains the history and meaning of the place. Highly recommended!

Day trip in Jerusalem We recommend Udi to anyone that would like to explore Jerusalem in a fun, educating way.We had a great 4 hours tour with Udi.He knew to answer all of our questions and we enjoyed his huge knowledge about the area. His attitude was great and was so thoughtful with our needs.I’d highly recommend Udi as a tour guide for couples, families, or any kind of tour.We managed to see so much in our short tour.We would definitely take another tour with Udi on our next visit to Israel !Price was really fair, and we got great value for our money.Great English explanations, as well as in Hebrew of course. You can enjoy Jerusalem on your own of course, but it’s a whole other experience to visit Jerusalem with Udi on your side.Thank you for everything, it was wonderful ❤️

Udi is awesome Udi was our tour guide during our 8 day stay in Israel. We are part of a small group so the tour was intimate and unhurried. Udi is full of information and was very passionate about his home country. We can tell by the pride in his voice and by the tears that he shed when we were at the Holocaust memorial. He also made sure that we get to perform our renewal of vows at the Church of Cana! For that, we are very grateful! For sure we will be going back to Israel and we hope that Udi will still be our tour guide!

Adventure in the Holy Land We spent two days with Udi, including a one day walking tour of the Old City and a one day trip to Masada, Ein Geidi, and the Dead Sea. These were unforgettable experiences. Udi is knowledgeable about both the ancient and modern history, and having lived in many places in Israel himself brought a broader perspective to our understanding of what we were seeing and hearing. Through a bit of luck, Udi happened to share my personal philosophy about food as well -- preferring the simple recipes prepared with local ingredients. That brought us to the local joints that were packed but not with tourists, including the best hummus we've ever tasted. If you visit Israel, you're paying for an experience. Because of the layers upon layers of history and culture woven together here, that experience won't be nearly as meaningful without a guide. Udi is an excellent guide, and I am happy to recommend him to any English speaking family like ours who will be visiting Israel.
