The situation with our representative’s cell service and the syncing of his schedule was an unfortunate and unexpected circumstance, and we should have communicated more effectively. We strive to provide timely and reliable service, and we regret that we fell short in this instance. Regarding the complimentary service to compensate for our mistake, our Comfort Advisor discovered that your ductless unit was experiencing error codes that required a thorough diagnostic assessment, which would have required lengthy periods of time in an attic space. In reference to our email communications on June 20th, due to the complexity of the issue and the heat advisories in effect at the time, it would not have been safe to perform the maintenance as originally intended. Our primary goal is to ensure the safety and effectiveness of our staff and services, and sometimes this means reevaluating our approach based on the specific circumstances. We offered, and came to a mutual agreement with you at that time, to complete a complimentary service on one of your fireplaces as an alternative, and we do still have that appointment on hold and ready to schedule for the fall. We understand that you are still considering replacement options for your heat pump; at the time we had respected your decision to postpone and wait for potential grant programs prior to receiving an estimate. We would love the opportunity to continue the discussion into replacement options for you, and want to ensure that we provide the best service and savings possible, when you’re ready.
