Very impressed with the process. Our card arrived very quickly and the activation instructions were super clear. I forgot to activate our card before we left Australia but the UK support team got us sorted in a jiffy via WhatsApp. Highly recommend them!

No problems! I ordered a SIM for an iPad and a SIM to give me a local UK number. Everything worked as expected. It was important for me to have the phone number ahead of arriving in the UK and this was readily achieved following the instructions. That seems to be the key - following the emailed instructions. I can see that it would be easy to screw things up if one just tore open the package and followed the instructions inside which are intended for UK users.

UK Prepaid Sim Card you are the BEST, recently travelling to London, Mediterranean & Dubai for total of seven weeks this service is fantastic, setting it up before you leave home and as soon as you land overseas you are instantly connected just follow the directions. Highly recommend Uk prepaid Sim Card. I had to purchase 2 sims as we were away a few months. Easily switching one to another, used it in 4 countries without any issues. Definitely be using them again for our next holiday in Europe. Robert 😊

Works okay both in UK and Europe but ..... Sim card works okay as per instructions both in UK and Europe where I was travelling. Just make sure you read through and follow all the instructions - I found these lengthy and a little confusing at times. Support from UK Prepaid SIM Card was good but support from Three in UK was woeful.

You mentioned that the support from Three in the UK was poor, and that's one of several reasons we offer a 24/7 WhatsApp support service for our customers so they don't have to deal with Three UK.

The UK Prepaid Sim Card worked well while on a month-long road trip in the UK. I chose the SIM with unlimited data + unlimited calls/texts which was well worth it. I used various GPS apps every day and had no issues with phone calls or texts either. I did have one problem; it took almost 48 hours for the SIM to begin working after I activated it when it should only take a few minutes. Thankfully I had saved a digital and hard copy of the instructions and troubleshooting information with my travel documents. Keep this in mind as you may need to make manual changes on your device. I also emailed customer service about the issue and they replied the same day however by that time the SIM was working fine. It might have been a problem with the mobile network, not the SIM card itself. I would still buy this SIM again and recommend the option of unlimited data/calls/texts.

Hi Belinda, thanks for your review it is appreciated. I've looked in our support system and I can see that the Three UK network activation system was experiencing widespread issues on the date you requested for activation, which affected a number of SIM Card activations. From what I can see in our system, it's the only time such a problem has occurred. The automatic activation failed, which in turn meant your SIM Card needed to be manually re-submitted to the Three UK network for activation.

I wouldn't purchase one of these again. I paid over 60 dollars and couldn't make or receive phone calls or text. I could only use data for the internet. My son tried to fix the problem by topping up another 10 dollars and it still didn't work. It is easier to buy a sim once overseas.

Hi Lisa. Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately you didn't activate the SIM Card. That's why it didn't work. Using your name I located your order number (3804). Then I checked our activation system. No activation request made for the SIM Card with order number 3804. The SIM Card needs to be activated which it wasn’t. On the SIM Card packet is a large white sticker that says: STOP! DO NOT OPEN THE PACKET YET! REQUEST ACTIVATION OF SIM CARD AT LEAST 48 HOURS BEFORE USE AT: https://bit.ly/activateuksimcard The same instructions are in the order confirmation email sent after purchase. Given that the SIM Card hasn't been activated you can keep it and use it anytime up to 2 years from you purchased the SIM Card (just make sure to follow the activation instructions that came with the SIM Card).

I bought 3 prepaid SIM cards before we left Australia for our UK and Paris trip. The cards use the 3 network in the UK and they worked perfectly there and also in Paris while we visited for 5 nights. The only problem was our cards expired after 30 days and we were in the UK for 32 days. We were unable to add more credit to the SIM cards until they had actually expired and then we were unable to pay for the additional days using Apple Pay, only manually using our Australian credit cards. Our Australian bank (Commbank) would not allow the payment without sending a confirmation code to our Australian phone numbers, which of course we weren’t using as we were in the UK! I realise this is not the fault of UK prepaid SIM but it was inconvenient anyway. We paid for everything else on our trip using Apple Pay without any issue.

Hi Marc thanks for the review. Did you know that you could have simply purchased a recharge voucher on our website, rather than on the Three UK website? If you bought it on our website you could have used Apple Pay. Good to know for next time. Or to get the SMS verification text from your Australian bank would have been as easy as taking our SIM Card out of your phone and inserting your Australian SIM for a minute. Then you would just put our SIM back in your phone. Thanks again for purchasing from us and we’re glad that the SIM Cards worked well for you.

Purchase and activation process was easy but one of the SIMs never had any mobile data in Ireland just calls, despite restarting the iPhone multiple times.

Hi Peter, thanks for the review, and sorry to hear this about data not working in Ireland. Ireland (Republic of Ireland) is included, so if the data didn't work in Ireland I would say it's because data roaming was not turned ON in the iPhone settings (as explained in the activation instructions). Ireland (Republic of Ireland) = EU and so data roaming needs to be on when not in the UK. We wish you had contacted our advertised 24/7 WhatsApp Support as they could have quickly troubleshooted with you and fixed the issue.

Purchased a SIM for travel to Ireland and the UK, arriving in Ireland first. SIM activated as I was going through Ireland airport so I was ready to go once in the country. Worked seamlessly once I crossed the border into Northern Ireland and the UK beyond. Would buy again no problems.

The support people are so helpful and patient. I mucked up the activation process in UK but they promptly helped me through that process. Quick delivery on purchase and quick to respond to my self caused problems. Can't ask for much more
