My dad and I took the MLK Jr Walking Tour yesterday with Zoe as our guide and thoroughly enjoyed it! I live here in Atlanta, but know so little of its history and wanted to take this tour to learn more about MLK. I learned so much from Zoe and grew appreciative of Atlanta and its place in history for civil rights.

Food tour
The tour was fun, entertaining, and educational. Nic was a great guide and had us intrigued by the market and history and food the whole time. Our biscuits turned out great and we totally recommend this tour!

Unexpected Virtual Tours hosted a fantastic Martin Luther King Jr live walking tour for us. Our guides, Jen T and Kristin, were informational, professional, and fun. This was by far one of the best virtual events I have ever participated in and I cannot recommend this wonderful team enough! Thank you all for an excellent presentation.

Jen T and Kristin led a tour of Atlanta to show & tell us all about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I learned some new things while seeing some great sites. It was an enjoyable and informative virtual tour.

Great Tour!
This tour was awesome! Our tour guide, Arielle, was super friendly, incredibly informative, and really helped us have a great time. We learned so much about Atlanta—even as Georgia natives who have visited the city numerous times. I would highly encourage anyone to take this tour: girls’ afternoons, family trips, or like we did, to celebrate a birthday. Much enjoyed!

Hidden gem on Auburn Avenue
This was a great tour. Courtney was awesome. Energetic and gave us lots of history of the Municipal Market. I’m from Atlanta and had never been there so it was great to find out more about it. She made us feel like we were just hanging out with our good friend. The food tastings and biscuit making were perfection!!! Definitely plenty of food. You won’t go away hungry. Highly recommend. Lots to see!!!

The history comes alive
Kristen was a great tour guide. She was very engaging and made the history of the area come to life. We are so glad we kicked off our long weekend in Atlanta with this walking tour.

Insightful tour!

Jen was a wonderful tour guide! This experience was new and exciting, as well as tasty and memorable. We learned so much about Atlanta’s history during the prohibition era, and it was really interesting to learn different things about the way alcohol influenced cuisine. Jen was so patient with us, and my sister and I were so full afterwards! Really enjoyed this and would recommend to anyone!

Living history in Atlanta
Kristin was a fabulous guide. She took time to learn about the dozen attendees and did a great job putting the history of Atlanta at the center of the civil rights movement. We not only saw the historical sites but learned about their significance and why things evolved the way they did. She supplemented the talk with audio and visual highlights. We all felt that we developed a new appreciation for Atlanta being essential to the civil rights movement. Highly recommend this tour!

They recently hosted a Virtual MLK event for our company and everyone loved it! We got so many praises after the event and we will definitely be looking to use unexpected tours again. Excellent job for our tour guides Joy, Kristin and Akila!
