we bought our piano back in February and yesterday had our first tuning (free of charge) The service from Vale Pianos, throughout the whole process, has been excellent. From great advice when choosing the correct piano for us, (with absolutely no pressure to buy) to a very smooth delivery with people who clearly knew how to safely manoeuvre a piano & finally to the tuning of the piano yesterday, it has been a pleasure to deal with everyone at Vale. Had a brilliant piano lesson with Richard. I have tried learning the piano over the years and am 72 now. Very relaxed and explained well. Organised the tuning of our ancient piano as well.

Superb service. I was after a digital piano as close to the 'real thing' as possible, and Ed helped explain all the different options and find one that was right for me.
The team delivered the piano just hours after paying, and made sure it was all set up properly. Very impressed with the speed and quality of service.

Very knowledgeable and helpful with the piano sale. They were understanding and stored the instrument for us until our building work was completed. Great communication via email and they ensured delivery to suit us, manoeuvring the piano skillfully up steps and round a tight corner. Great service and very helpful.

We had a really enjoyable visit. We were able to relax and enjoy playing the vast range of pianos without feeling any pressure to purchase. Advice and support was readily available. Chose a piano and time of delivery was confirmed the next day. Delivery was efficient, to time and the whole experience was one we could recommend unreservedly.

We had a great experience with Vale pianos. My husband and I turned up (without making a booking as we hadn't checked the website for the advice 🤦🏻♀️) with our 2 year old in tow to boot!! We were fully made welcome and our little one was encouraged to have a good go on the pianos too. Great information and advice given in a very un-pushy manner (much appreciated). We chose and ordered over the phone and then were lucky enough to receive our digital piano the next day - due to stock availability and deliveries being made near to us. Over the moon with the service, kindness and professionalism of all we met. Thank you. P.s the piano is ace! I will now play like Matthew Bellamy from Muse!!

Not a good experience. I phoned this company to see if they were interested in buying my Mum's piano. They were pleasant on the phone and as requested the same day I sent them photos by email.
No response. Chased them up by phone again 11 days later and they promised to get back to me. It then took them a further 14 days to reply by email to say they weren't interested. By this time the piano had already been sold and collected by another dealer...
UPDATE: As expected, excuses were made in the reply but it's really silly to be only checking a spam folder every couple of weeks when you could be missing important emails. It certainly does not take 14 days (AFTER a chasing up) to decide that you're not interested in buying a piano. I remain unimpressed by this company.

As we explained, unfortunately the original email with photos went through to the spam folder and we only check this folder every couple of weeks. Apologies that it was overlooked, but with some of our team returning having been on furlough ready for the showrooms reopening after months of being closed, things were extremely busy. Good to hear that your piano has now sold.

Despite living in Scotland I used Vale Pianos to convert our upright to a digital. I am delighted to be able to keep our antique upright with a much improved tone and the versatility of a digital. Hopefully a grandchild will enjoy it one day! Excellent service throughout.
