I was charged $1,300.00 more than the original quote! At one point I was told it would be $500.00 more, and I agreed with that statement. In the end Sam said it would be $6,300.00. I didn’t feel like I had any other option. So, I paid it. I have felt ripped off ever since. This move was from Pitt Meadows to Vancouver Island. I have had this company move me before and at the end of the move he asked for more money, but not to this extent. Sam is very pleasant and he and his team are good workers. However, I think they have an unethical practice.

Thanks for your feedback and our apologies if this made you uncomfortable and gave you this feeling. This really surprised me because I was pretty happy about outcome and all our goal was met, Yvonne herself send us email after the process and thanks all the team for the hard work. we always try our best to help our customer and be efficient. To keep quality and efficiency we have to be very prepared all the time.. Fees associate with this move was as follow: August 29th 68 labour hours. August 30th 60 labour hours. Ferry fare for Yvonne cars and two company cars. Supply, small boxes, large boxes, wardrobe boxes, plastic wrap, blankets and etc. Disposal fee for 2 chairs and dining table. Gas. Destination was in Sooke around 4 hours drive in each direction for total of 8 hours of drive. The real charge for this move was way over the amount that got charged, I had to cut lots of corner to make my old customer happy. What we did as follow: In our first visit on July 25th, Yvonne asked me about rough estimate, no address was provided at the time, we just knew we are going to island, I mentioned it would be close to 5000, if all small stuff packed, we would pack the large furniture and if everything fits in one truck it might be this amount however at the moment I insist this is just an estimate and I even don’t have your destination address. When we received the address we start collecting all information regarding the trip and I called Yvonne explain all the charges for ferry and mentioned your move could cost you $6500, I didn’t make reservation until after she approved it. Second trip two of our team dropped packing boxes and supply on July 26th. 3rd visit on August 25th, I went remove all wall mounted contents and patch all her walls to be ready for painting. All the contents was supposed to be packed and ready, plus on August 25th I was told that Yvonne has a storage 10 by 10 in maple ridge to be empty as well. On August 29th 2 of our crew were at storage facility to load up their storage and at 10am 4 more crew joined to load the rest and wrap the furniture. When we arrived nothing was ready only around 10 boxes was packed, long story short 7 of us had to work until 19:00 to prepare everything for the move. Day of moving 4 of us had to work 15hrs to move everything to island and come back. After the move she realize that we packed something inside her home that belong to her landlord and she was about to post it to him, we took it and deliver it to her landlord in Pitt meadows too. We aim to provide the best services for everyone and we will work harder for that.
