Kevin, I’m sorry we didn’t meet your expectations related to our billing practices. I believe our QuickBooks experts were able to solve your QB Payments account issue and get your account reconciled (in a billable total of 1.75 hrs). When we onboard a new client, all clients sign a client agreement which explains our billable rates and what is billable, such as QuickBooks consultation calls, emails, and offline work as requested, as well as our 5 day invoice review process before a client is charged. We did send you 2 invoices for review, and then later charged you. We spoke to you after you expressed your concerns and resent the invoices for your review, as well as explained that the QuickBooks consultation calls and emails were billable in service of your account. You shared that your billing expectations were different based on your handyman industry which we understand, and that you had been burned by another company and were triggered by our billing practice. Other than providing our professional consultation services for free, I’m not sure what more we could have done to satisfy you. We are always happy to work for you in the future with the mutual understanding that we do charge for our services and consultation calls and emails.

Katharyn, we apologize that your experience didn't meet your expectations. And we're very sorry your call started late, as much as we DO try to stay on schedule throughout the day with client calls. We know as a business owner that your time is valuable. We understand that most of your initial call was actually spent setting up QBO from scratch with you, which didn't leave time for what we'd call basic training on the platform. Learning any new software takes time, and we'd never suggest that you'd be comfortable with QBO after one session. We've been working with QuickBooks for over 25 years, and would suggest that it takes more like 90+ days of using the new software to feel comfortable. However, for our part in contributing to any expectations to the contrary, we apologize for the misunderstanding. If you don't get the free support from Intuit you are seeking, please know that we are always here for you to help as much or as little as needed with your QuickBooks.
