Vespa Healthy Italian Café Sedona Reviews

We brought our family of 5 to this delicious Italian restaurant tonight. My friend recommended it and I also appreciated the other amazing Yelp reviews that helped sway me. The atmosphere is very relaxed and family friendly. Our server Alec was attentive, cheerful, and very friendly with our kids (8, 11, & 14). Matteo, the owner, was likewise extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was incredible and very authentic! I honestly haven't eaten pizza and focaccia this delicious since I was in Italy. We ordered the Burrata app with a full side order of focaccia and, I promise, I will have dreams about this until I return to Sedona! It was delicious! (Don't skip ordering the focaccia!) We ordered 3 pizzas for the table: Margherita, Genoana, and Sfizio, all very different and equally delicious. My 11 year old said the Genoana is the best pizza he's ever had, and I agree! We both love pesto and olives, plus the way they make their pizza dough here is just so special. The crust is perfection and very light! I felt full, but not overly stuffed like I usually do after eating pizza. (You can read about the science behind it on their website.) My 14 year old also enjoyed his chicken parm entree'. He gave it a 4 out of 5, which is good for a teenager. I had a bite and I could tell the sauce was homemade and authentic. We all also shared the Giulio salad, which is essentially a Caesar salad. The homemade croutons took it up a notch and we were all obsessed, so we kept fighting over who got to pick out the last croutons, ha! Delicious and healthy food is definitely my love language, so I was so happy we found this gem of a restaurant. Thank you Vespa!

OMG, the food here was so great!!! I had a salad with the best balsamic vinaigrette dressing I've ever had. I decided to get one of their vegetarian pizzas. It was rather large. Dainty people would have eaten half of it, but it was so damn good, I ate the whole thing and I'm not sorry I did. It's a small restaurant but the people working here were so nice. I told a friend of mine and she wants to take me and a couple of other friends there for out birthday next month. I don't want to share a pizza, so I'll have one of their sandwiches instead.

Vespa was recommended to us by our Outlaw Tour guide and it did not disappoint!

The food was excellent! Was a great way to end the night.

This food is sooo good. It's a must experience place. It does not look like much in the exterior, but the tastes are outstanding. Get the burrata!

We asked the locals where they go and they recommended Vespa. The portions are big but not too heavy and are so yummy! Service and atmosphere were great.
