Dear Brock, thank you for your kind review and 10/10 for cleanliness, comfort, value for money, staff and facilities. We were impressed when we heard that you walked all the way from the airport (5 km). I guess you didn’t learn more about ViaVia’s two nearby UNESCO sites. Boudhanath is less than 1 km and Pashupatinath is 2 km away. The other attractions, Swayumbunath and KTM Durbar Square are 7 km away, Patan is 10 km and Bhaktapur is 15 km away. If you avoid rush hour, you can reach the first two locations in 15 minutes by taxi, taxi-bike or taxi-car and the latter can be reached in 30-45 min. We hope to see you again. Take care, ViaVia

Fantastic friendly owners and very hospitable employees. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. A recommendation for people who are looking for Western standards at a fair price. Hotel has a rooftop terrace with a great view. Location is very calm however nightlife may require a cab.

Поставила 3 за сервис только потому, что ребята старались подать завтрак во время, а вот с уборкой номеров проблема за 3 дня ни разу не убрались. Причем в 3й день оставляли табличку чтобы убрались, но не случилось этого. Номера маленькие, очень. В номерах нет фена, утюга, они предоставляются только по запросу. Завтрак скудненький, например если что-то съели, приходиться просить, чтобы донесли, тот же сыр или кофе, которое в термосе стоит. В общем чисто переночевать может и пойдет. Хочу откорректировать отзыв. Спасибо, что ответил хозяин. Я в целом благодарна Вам за наше проживание и что старались делать всё по максимуму, администратор всегда помогал , ему отдельная благодарность, отзывчивый парень. По поводу уборки, возможно мы случайно нажали переключатели на режим не беспокоить, не буду спорить, а вот с завтраком всё-таки мы приходили в 7-00 а то и позже. Да компания наша большая была, возможно не рассчитано сразу на такое количество гостей, что-то заканчивалось и больше не было этих продуктов. Оценочку повышу до 4. Спасибо за гостеприимство ❤️

Dear Madam, thank you for your two week stay at ViaVia. Some misunderstandings were caused by not being able to speak English. This can be frustrating for all parties. Although we offered daily house keeping service, you left the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on for 3 days ! Please note there is switch in the room to turn this sign of. As for your other comment. Since you came with a large group and didn’t announce your early start of the program, our buffet set up was not fully set up yet. We served freshly brewed coffee from the coffee machine, in addition to a pre-prepared batch of coffee. Since the breakfast time starts at 7 am and the entire group arrived (unannounced) at 6:45 am, our buffet breakfast was not completely ready yet. We do apologize for the inconvenience to have to wait 5 minutes for extra cheese and coffee. We are glad to let you know that in all rooms hair dryers have been installed. So for your next stay you will have access to the hair dryer no matter in which room you are staying. We had several irons and ironing boards available, but when you needed them all at the same time, and some people did not return it back on time, you had to wait for some time to get access to it. We are sorry for that. I hope this feedback can clear up some of the issues you had during your extended stay and we hope you will choose us again for your next (long term) stay. Kind regards, ViaVia

Dear Aleksandr, Our staff found it difficult to communicate with you since didn't speak any English, and we were unable to speak to you in Russian. For this reason, I believe some of the stuff you mention in your review could have been avoided. You were offered a menu and could build your own breakfast, but you managed to express merely your interest for omelet, porridge, toast and waffles, while there is many more items you could have chosen. During daily house keeping, we do not change towels when they are hung on the towel rack to dry. In the hotel industry it is common practice to change only towels that are left on the floor. If the guest asks for towel change, we will of course change it immediately. Also here your inability to speak English may have hampered to express what you needed. We believe our hotel is correctly listed on Google Maps, but you may haven gotten confused as one (of three) important access roads is not mentioned on google maps. We have notified google about this and hope for an update soon. Finally, we are sorry that you had a stain on your mattress cover. This is the first time we have received this kind of comment and we are trying not to hear it again. We are sorry about that. Since you gave us a 10/10 for cleanliness, you may have noticed that we strive to be clean, hygienic and sterile. All linens are washed and replaced upon check-out. ViaVia is really a boutique hotel, unlike some other establishments that only use the name to attract people. It is inti ☺ 5- star boutique hotel for me 😉 The hotel is located in a quiet location near Boudanath stupa. They serve freshly brewed coffee in the morning and they have nice Belgian beer in the evening (in the original brand glasses !!). What sets this property apart for me from its competitors was the location and unbeatable value for money. The rooms had AC, tea/coffee maker, flat screen TV, hair dryer, a rain shower! Super comfortable beds and sound reducing windows and so on… The furnishing and interior are modern and of high quality with beautiful artwork that gives a feeling of cultural authenticity. You'll find this standard of furnishing only in newly built 5-star properties, but for 4 times the price. ☹ Nothing. It’s all perfect.

Recommended Very picturesque hotel in the center of Kathmandu. Cozy rooms that were perfectly in order. Nice bar with good food, a roof terrace to relax in the busy city and very friendly managers:-) Definitely recommended!

Clean hotel Unfortunately I don't give 5 bullets because in my opinion some tricks are missing. Example you can improve breakfast with more assortment and maybe attention to detail. Then in the 3 nights we did we were redone the room only the first day then more.
