Best bike rentals in NOTL!
Rented two bikes from Steve. Best rates in town. Great guy who took the time to get us set up and fitted with just the right bikes. The bikes were in excellent condition and perfect for Parkway biking. Steve marked up a map for us after asking what we we were looking to do. He is very knowledgeable about the area and the whole biking business in general. I strongly recommend Vino Velo to anyone looking for a great biking experience or even to get a bike repaired.

Bike Rental Niagara On the Lake
I would highly recommend Vino Velo. We rented bikes for 4 days while we were in Niagara on the lake. Steve was amazing! He was so helpful and friendly. I did my research and the rental prices were lowest here. The bikes were great and included a basket and lock. The bikes were dropped off and picked up where we were staying. We decided to explore on our own and Steve was very helpful. He gave us a map and highlighted great places to stop and wineries to try. We had a blast touring wineries, biking to local restaurants, biking along the river and biking to Old Town. I'm sure the tours would be great here as well. Next time I'm in NOTL, this is the only place I'd go to rent a bike or go on a biking wine tour!
Gastro Velo Bike Tour
My friends and I went on this self-guided tour and Steve was exceptional to deal with.
He made recommendations, accommodated all of our various needs and even let us bring an additional person at the last minute.
We added a trip to LTD Distillery to our trip which took us past some beautiful vineyards. The food was exceptional and lots of it! We even took some home with us.
The bikes were comfortable (even for our 'vertically challenged' friends :-) and he even picked up two of the girls who ate too much and didn't want to do the last few kms back.
Would definitely recommend this company and this tour!
Bike repair
I was cycling from NOTL to the falls when climbing the hill atQueenston Heights, my chain locked on the cassette, I thought I was done for the day! A call to Steve at Vino Velo Bikes. Steve returned my call promptly and offered to have a look. Many thanks to Steve for repairing my bike on the spot. Steve is awesome, knowledgeable & knows bikes. Very friendly and helpful. Very much appreciated Steve fixing my bike.

We had opted for the Gourmet Food Fondo, with a wine tasting (Reif Estate) and cider tasting (Ironwood Cidery) added on. Steve provided a map and showed us where we would be going. The route, day and timing were perfect! Everyone, at all of our designated stops, was absolutely fantastic. Shoutout to Diana, Greg and Jeff and Reif Estate Winery and Jacob at Ironwood Cidery for being so helpful when we were choosing our flights! My friends and I had a fantastic day. We would recommend Vino Velo and the Gourmet Food Fondo to anyone!!

Steve is the most amazing guy you'll meet. We went for a bike repair (break lines) and he got us back on the road in no time. We ended up staying for a chat the man has funny stories and is a fount of tips for where to stop in Niagara for sights and wine.
A Perfect Day
My husband and I were given the “3 Wineries and a Patio” tour as a special birthday gift by our daughter and son-in-law.We were so fortunate to be the only two touring today AND to have Steve as our guide. The itinerary was adjusted slightly, so we visited 2 wineries…and a distillery! Our lunch at Ruffino’s was delish. The whole experience was amazing. I would highly recommend Vino Velo. We’ll be back!

My two girlfriends and my mom went on a self guided bike tour and it was fantastic! Steve was the best- it began to be rain and he came and picked up our bikes for us so we didn’t have to bike in the rain! Highly recommend vino velo and can’t wait for our next bike tour! Definitely excited to see Steve and his dog again! 10/10 would recommend booking with vino velo for your next bike tour.

I booked a self-guided tour with Vino Vélo for my partners birthday and we loved it. The owner was incredibly responsive when I had emailed questions before the booking and was able to recommend the perfect tour for us. We had asked for some additional wineries and the owner was able to recommend some on the route which kept us out of traffic. We appreciated the attention to safety for the route and the fact that he took time to explain the route and what to expect. The wineries were amazing and the picnic lunch was delicious. We can’t wait to come back and will recommend Vino Velo to anyone looking for a bike tour!

Our bike tour was cancelled due to rain. The morning of our tour we stopped in to see what the plan was, and I was told I would receive a substantial refund as the forecast was rain all day and we had decided to drive to each vineyard on the schedule. From that moment, I have received no communication after countless efforts of calling and emailing, and have not received any refund whatsoever. This was on July 17th, 2021. I have never left a bad review in my life, but because of the lack of communication and lack of professionalism this is my last resort. It's easy when things are going to plan to say how great it was- this experience has left me stunned. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. My girlfriend and I rented a pair of bikes last Friday to do a winery tour and Steve, the owner, was exceptionally friendly and went well out of his way to show us the best and safest biking routes and suggest some great hidden gems for us to check out. Can not recommend Vino Velo highly enough!

Great Spot for Bike Rentals
I would definitely recommend anyone visiting the area and wanting to rent bikes to give this place a try.The owner is great, and his suggestions on routes and winery’s were spot on. Well maintained bike and properly equipped. Could not have asked for anything more.We biked about 18kms and had a great time in the area.

We were into the store and had a wonderful chat with Steve about what type of bikes would suit our friend, how a bike could be adapted to meet individual needs. He keeps all of his bikes in good repair and safe for riders, because he is more than just a bike rental store, has the expertise, parts and knowledge to get you on a bike that best suits you.

Best place to rent bikes in town. Steve went above and beyond to provide us with an enjoyable experience, giving us advices of vineyards and other points of interests to visit in the area. He even picked up some of our purchases for us while we went on biking! Can't recommend this place enough.
